Option 3a: Read a book with a title of at least two words where the total number of letters in the title can be averaged by the number of words, to get a whole number. I read ¡Hola Papi!: How to Come Out in a Walmart Parking Lot and Other Life Lessons by John Paul Brammer.
I wasn't sure if the exclamation points would disqualify it, so I asked in the help thread. If the exclamation points don't count, then it has a total of eight letters, divided by two words, which would equal four. The task creator read it as the exclamation points counting as part of the words, in which case it would be ten "letters" divided by two words, which would equal five, so their thinking was that it should work either way. The question and help thread response are posts 18 and 20.
