So Ellington-Wyver Matriarch #1’s Younger Brother how old is he ? One of my favorites things is playing younger characters.
So, I saw that the Matriarch has an older brother, which made me curious about how that works? If she isn't the oldest sibling, why is she the highest ranking?

Married into it! My character and Isabella's character are best friends who married for benefits and to tie their families together nonromantically. So, even though my character has an older brother, she and the other matriarch are the head of the newly-joined family. My character's older brother would still carry the last name Wyver.
Alright I think I understand, so basically we use the template we were given and write down the info about it, since I picked the younger brother I’m guessing it goes into voxthain?

Also Rein if you want your character to not be male, I say go for it. I want you to have the creative freedom to do what you want with the character. The only stipulations are that 1. They’re siblings to my matriarch and 2. They’re younger than my matriarch
So, would it be possible for my councilor to also be the older brother of the one matriarch? btw, how old would he be?
Ooooooooooooooo I love. I think that makes a lot of sense for the power dynamics at play in Voxthain. We’ll see if Rory has anything in particular in mind but as an initial thought I’d say older than mid twentiesPlease put the additional claim in the claims so that I don’t forget. okay, so we’re pretty much allowed to have just about any sort of magical ability for each character, correct? would people in the same bloodline have similar abilities, or would they differentiate?
yep, all magic (not overpowered and main character-y but you know that) is allowed. and yeah bloodlines can determine what kind of magic someone has an affinity for, but everyone can use any magic if they learn and hone it
I was wondering, obviously there's stuff where science meets magic stuff in this world when it comes to like inventions, but could there be a similar thing with, say chemistry (kinda like magical alchemy)?Np if not, I was just wondering.
yeah absolutely! i was starting to lean that direction with asterath specifically (although it could be done anywhere) towards the end of worldbuilding last night. i am excited to see what you do with it

How long have the Runalite crew been on/around Voxthain and Asterath and where are they based when they're all together, etc?
we wanted everyone to make their claims on the squad first and then we would work that out because everyone will be spread out and we can make a topic for their main base once that's sorted
i'd say at the start of roleplay, a good three months so they have had time to form relationships and to steal some magic, as well as make the realization that living people hold more magic than simple objects and erm, to murder xD
how did the pets end up in the crew? can we make something up with the character sheets?
yep let me know if they were your character's pet before and they refused to leave them or if the pet just followed them and stuck around, we didn't get that far. for the technomancer, we specifically made Beaker to be a little companion (get it, a science Beaker? XD)

how long is each elected councillor's term for voxthain?
for voxthain and asterath both, councilors stay in position until they step down, die, or get "impeached" or the people want them off the council.

would it be possible, like, to have the runalite leader have been part of the community once in voxthain, and then ran off to Faerûn? And then came back as the leader in runalite's squad later on when the shadowfog became a bigger danger/out of greed and all that shit?bc then I can be at peace thank you
yes, and then runalithe also have an explanation on like how they just know random shat about voxthian/asterath
that could work. it would be reasonable and a single exception because they're the leader but the vibe there is that the continents are so far apart that they know little about each other. but for the leader with ulterior motives? yes. do it.
