Hiya, Team Caps! Thanks for volunteering to guide your team through a round of BookShelf Bingo! a
Your job, should you choose to accept it, will require a few things:
1 ~ Be our go-to person should we have any questions about your team
2 ~ Organize your teammate's weekly reads for each shelf/category so that the BSB Ninjas can quickly and easily verify and approve your stamp request(s)
2a ~ Create a master list in a post (preferably on the first page of your team's thread) and update it weekly or as often as necessary
2b ~ Post your team's stats on the Captain's Log prior to requesting a stamp
3 ~ Encourage and motivate your team (you may also ask to borrow Judithe's whip whenever necessary)
4 ~ Post regularly to ensure your team is communicating and on track each week
4a ~ Send them a PM and friendly poke if they haven't posted at least once a week, noted their book choice, and/or appear to have dropped out of webspace
5 ~ Send us a PM (Steph, Sandra or Judithe) should you need us for any reason throughout the game
Hi teammates! I'm excited for another round of bingo. I don't really want to be captain, so hoping one of you would like to. I'm not great at names but will try to come up with a couple if I can. I'm from North Carolina.
Hi team! My name is Marisa and I live in Madrid (Spain), so expect strange hours :D I don't mind to be captain if nobody else wants. And I'm really bad with names (and selecting books in advance), but "Booked to the nines"?
Marisa, how's it going in Spain. The pictures of the floods look really bad.Hope Madrid escaped the mess & loss of life.
Yes, there is no issue at Madrid, not a lot of rain either, thank you very much. But Valencia mainly (east of Spain) is a very terrible state, a lot of destruction, I think more than 100 hundred dead people, a ver big number of people who have disappeared, no phone, no light... So yes, it's very bad there.
Yes, so glad you are ok Marisa. Nice to see you again, I think we were teammates together once before. I like Booked to the Nines too.
Thank you, Lisa. And yes, nice to see you, I think we were teammates (and my calibre library confirms it, I keep there all the rounds of bingo I've played 😉).

I had forgotten how funny this series is (at least for me, who found boring most of the "funny" series). It has a lot of bantering and quirky characters (what do you expect when you go to a nest of supernatural characters?). There is no angst or big misunderstandings, only some small breakup but not extended a lot. I'm going to read the remaining books in the series for sure.

Review: I love a good time travel book and this one was no exception. This one was a little different in that the time travel was from the past (1600s) to current time. The heroine has amnesia upon arrival to present time, so the story continually switched back and forth between past and present revealing more and more each time. The ending was a bit predictable, yet still enjoyable. I enjoyed the spirit and courageousness of the heroine, and the romance just worked. A perfect couple. This was not a 5 star read, but enjoyable to pass the time.

I began this book with a lot of expectations, as I wanted to read Sofie's history. In the end, although I've enjoyed it, it has been less than expected. I think mainle because of the broading hero (I don't like them). And I've felt Sofie flatter than I expected. So, it's a good read (that's the reason of the rating), but not as much as Jillian's story.

It's been so long since I've read this series. I still love Aisling she gets herself into so much trouble and its fun seeing how she fixes things. I definitely will continue with this series to see what else happens in Aisling's journey to learn how to be a Guardian and better relations to the dragons

Because I only see how to get that link, that allows to modify the card.
Hi Marisa, yes, that’s the link. Click on it & stamp your card by clicking in the appropriate box. Once that’s done, share the req’d info on the captain’s log page. Let me know if you run into any problems.

Review: Not my favorite of the series but still enjoyable. The heroine, Sarah, was just too bland for me, no personality. It was difficult to understand the almost immediate attraction to her from Raj. As far as hero vampires go though, he checked all my boxes and is what kept me interested in the story. The storyline was good but not great. It definitely felt unfinished and needed more blocks filled in to understand more about what happened and why. It was nice to have the previous main characters make a quick appearance in this book as well. I do enjoy getting to check in on the lives of past characters throughout a series. Overall I enjoy the series quite a bit, this book was just a a slight miss for me. I will still continue on and hope it was just a fluke and the rest of the books are better again.

Review
It has been a lot of time I've not read a book as tender as this. I love there are not misunderstandings, not posturing, not silly conflicts, only a relationship, it's an instant-relationship, because of the "world", but I've loved it. It's a pity the author has not written more books in this world, I would have like the stories of some of her friends and their partner.

Review: When I first started reading this book I thought "Oh No, I'm not going to like this one". There were so many paranormal beings introduced (vampires, shifters, mages, ghosts, etc.) and I thought it would be a bit "overkill". Well I was wrong and I ended up loving this book. Everything just worked! The heroine Alice was right up my alley as a tough, independent kick-ass mage PI. Her sidekick ghost Malcolm was very endearing, and her love interest shifter Sean was perfectly concerned, caring yet as "alpha" as they come. It was an interesting mystery/investigation and I will definitely read the next book in the series. Each character still has so much more backstory to tell and I look forward to hearing it all.
