This is another series I haven't read in a long time. I'm still enjoying learning about the angels and catching up with Elena. I was very interested in figuring out what was happening. I was wondering how things were going to end up right until the end. I'm looking forward to continuing on with the series.

I was surprised how much I liked this it was hard to put down. I don't enjoy the bullying parts but really am interested in the characters. Tory and Darcy are fun to learn about I can't wait to see what happens next with the academy and their magic .

We are levelled now, good! I've updated all our reviews and requested all the stamps. I go on vacation tomorrow and I'll be back on Monday afternoon, so in the meantime I won't be able to update a lot (I hate the app at the tablet). I'll try to finish the book for this week, but I'm not sure I'll have something for the next theme in my ereader. If the stamps are validated before going away, I'll try to update the captain's log but I'm not sure if if will be possible.
WTG! Your request to stamp S/September & free space has been approved; if you have any issues stamping your card, let me know. Once you’ve stamped your card, go to the Captain’s Log and share a link with us. Thx!

Review: This was a fun, light, quick read. I also think the paranormal world the author created was unique and original from all the other stuff out there. Love triangle between an immortal, a ghost, and a reincarnated witch made for some interesting interactions. That being said, I don't really feel compelled to read the next in the series, but who knows, maybe someday.

This book has been in my pile for a lot of time, I don't know the reason as it looks something right my alley... and it has been, really. I've enjoyed the book almost from the beginning (something strange for me with first books in the series), and the humor has been right for me. I've enjoyed it a lot (a bit strange plot, really, but nice), and I'll keep on reading the series.

I've had this book for so long and am glad for the perfect chance to finally read it. I really liked Feyre but not some of the choices she made. Also didn't like the instalove vibe. All in all I enjoyed the story and characters and want to continue to see what happens next.

I've been reading this series in different steps (not like her SPI series, that I've already finished), but I really enjoy when I read the books, because I like the humor and the adventures. I've lowered the rating, however, due to the cliffhanger (yes, I know, it's typical of fantasy books but I HATE it). Luckily, I've got the next book and it fits with the current theme.

I loved Keera but didn't like how she and all halflings had to live. She risks so much while trying to figure out who she can trust. I can't wait to learn more about the fae and their powers. I'm also interested in learning more about Keera. Looking forward to continuing on with this series.

Good conclusion for the previous book, tieing all the loosen threads. I enjoyed a lot the book but I concluded that I'm not so fond of traditional fantasy as I was before. The middle part, only fights and hiding, was not so good for me as the rest of the book. An enjoyable reading in any case. I don't ahve a lot of books in this series to read now.

Review: I decided to continue on with this series and I'm glad I did, as I enjoyed this one just as much as the first. I love strong, independent heroines and Alice definitely fits the bill. She is actually almost too independent. But what I love about this book is that she is beginning to let a few close friends into her world and open up and trust a bit. She is used to working alone and is beginning to appreciate having others care about her well being. The story is moving along nicely and I will definitely read the next in the series.

Review: I read this in one day while flying cross country to visit my dad. It really kept me engaged and entertained. I enjoy time travel novels and this one didn't disappoint. An airplane enters a storm and comes out 300 years earlier into the 1700s. How did the passengers survive this new reality? I loved the adventure and the history. I will definitely read the next in series.
