Young girl moves to small Oregon town with single mother working overtime and neurodivergent brother. There is a disaster with the construction of the new super collider, and just as MC teenage girl leaves town border, coincidentally the outline of the super collider, it vanishes. With a couple friends who also weren't disappeared along with the town she makes her way through the thick woods to find her brother who was wondered off. As they re-enter where the town used to be passed police blockades, the collider isn't finished yet. the world seems to be crumbling beneath their feet as MC finds her brother who is able to show them the true meaning behind their journey and miraculously remove MC and her friends from the apocalyptic circumstance. Throughout the book MC girl has flashbacks of (why they moved schools) her brother being bullied and her abusive father.
