May I ask you for help where knowledge of the Japanese is required? One of these tasks is Agatha Christie's profile in Japanese
https://www.goodreads.com/author/show...
Could you please check if this is the correct name? I did this using Google Translate. And some books need to be combined with the originals. Per GR policy, the books should have Agatha Christie as primary author, and アガサ クリスティ as secondary author on the Japanese editions.
If you want to help more, check out the Agatha Christie profile

I filtered by "japanese import" keyword and found about 50 editions with these words. You can easily find them using ctrl+F.
It's OK if you can't help with this. Thanks!

I'd be happy to help. :) I've only just become a librarian so still learning the ropes, but I am hoping to help out with some of the Japanese records that other librarians might not be able to.
Agatha Christie in Japanese should be アガサ・クリスティ. They use that dot in the middle for foreign names rather than a space between the two names like Google did for you. Amazon can also be pretty bad about this (it automatically puts a space between names it seems even though that isn't done in Japanese). This is what's shown on the few covers I checked.
Rather than using Google Translate, I find I generally get good results for finding the proper spelling in Japanese for a famous person's name if I go to Wikipedia and change the language to Japanese.
I'm happy to change it/add in the original English name if you'd like the help!

We had another option アガサ・クリスティー with "ー" symbol. I saw it on the covers.
Here is the thread about Agatha Christie books. You can write there. I know Russian language, so I corrected the books in Russian.

I've renamed this profile to アガサ・クリスティhttps://www.goodreads.com/author/show...
It would be great if you could help.
I have two books with different titles and ISBNs, but they are the same book (retitled and released). This isn't a super uncommon practice in Japan. Should I (can I?) combine these books as editions of the same book or leave them as seperate books?
