I am :) Liking all the heroes! Reading Conrad's story now, Cade's after that. I'd like to read Murdoch's story too but I see it's only available in hard cover. Wonder if they'll release that title in paperback?

I'm thinking of buying it anyway, if only for the epilogue I read about (the whole Wroth clan together for Christmas)...

I checked her site too - saw there is a new IAD book coming out next year - Lucia and Garreth's story (finally!) but no news of a paperback version of Deep Kiss of Winter. I may have to cave and buy the hard cover then too (or maybe the e-book) although I've never read anything by Gena Showalter - what's she like?

Yeah I know, Lucia and Gareth, finally! I've been waiting since A Hunger Like No Other.
I have never read Gena Showalter. I'm hearing very mixed reviews. Apparently she's some sort of mix between JR Ward (super!) and Sherilyn Kenyon (meh!).
I don't know whether I will like her. Especially after reading this review, which by the way is one of the most hilarious reviews ever.

I've read Gena Showalter's Lords of the Underworld series, which is entertaining and has improved as it's gone along - but she's no J.R. Ward, IMHO. However, I believe the story in Deep Kiss of Winter is from her Alien Huntress series, and I haven't read any of those.

Finished Desire Unchained, 2nd book in Ione's Demonica series. It's pretty good, and I definitely enjoyed the interaction between the hero and heroine. I was further intrigued with Gem and Keenan's relationship (secondary characters). Would definitely like to read more of this series.

I traded Storm Born for Rampant. Rampant is about killer unicorns and Astrid, the girl who slays them. This story started strong for me, and killer unicorns(!) are a nice change of pace from the vampires and zombies and gets points for creativity. However, I didn't care enough about the characters and the story dragged toward the end.

Oh, that review is a classic!! Not sure if I'm in any hurry to read anything of Gena Showalter's based on that but darn, I want to read Murdoch's story, not for the price of a hard cover though. Sheesh, maybe I'll put a Kindle on my Christmas wish list and get the e-book :)

I decided I'm on a roll with Chapman's Highlanders, and I think that will be a faster read than Covet, so I'm going for Winter MacKeage - have to see how Father Daar goes about training her to be his protege 'druidh'

I'm a HUGE fan of Gena Showalter. I've read all of her Atlantis and Alien Huntress series, as well as the first Lords of the Underworld. She is a fun, witty, and romantic writer. I would recommend reading her books.
