Chosen was OK, seemed to take a long time to get anywhere. I have a hard time believing that her "friends" would be so hard on her - she's only known them for 2 months for crying out loud. And honestly - she didn't know Loren was up to no good? I wouldn't trust any man that kept callng me baby when we hadn't even been on a date!!! Dammit, I've turned into an old woman.

I agree Charlotte--any guy that calls you baby when you haven't even been on a date is: 1) so uninterested in anything much about you (except maybe for sex) that he can't be bothered to remember your name OR 2) is a controlling, possibly abusive jerk. Either one should raise enough hackles that you run, not walk to the closest door and leave him in a cloud of dust.

Ok, there is a tiny minority that have a medical condition that causes problems with remembering names and so he/she calls everyone "Baby" "Honey" etc. But that group is so tiny that its almost nonexistant.

**** Ok, I wanted to post a little review for anyone looking for a new book but just didnt have time lastnight so here it is. Caleb by Sarah McCarty was a great book and a new series I was not sure how a cowboy could be a vampire but it worked out well. a GREAT read****

Covet is the first of a new series of JR Ward and I must say: it is very promising. Like the Black Dagger Brotherhood series, the Fallen Angel series is about a bunch of tough men with good hearts, takes place in Caldwell and is about the supernatural... but that's about where the similarities end. It doesn't make Covet any less exciting than the BDB books. Good writing mrs Ward! And please hurry up with Lover Mine!

For the month of Dec, can we just have a re-read feast?? I really do not want to have to buy books with Christmas around the corner!! There are so many yummy books I need to re-read. I always read my series books over when it is getting closer to a new book coming out so I can refresh myself with the series. I am a nerd, yes, I know!
