The Kentucky Derby is an American horse race run at Churchill Downs in Louisville, Kentucky. It has been run continually since 1875. The Derby is known as "The Run for the Roses", as the winning horse is draped in a blanket of roses.
Below is a list of horses scheduled to race. At the end of the month, I will randomly draw the winning horse. If you have read a book for that horse, you win.
Duration: May 1 - 31, 2024
Books must be at least 140 pages.
The rules for this challenge are simple. Read a book for as many or as few horses as you wish. The book you read for a certain horse must begin with a letter found in that horse's name. You can use or ignore 'A', 'An', 'The'.
Example: for Secretariat, I might read Eclipse for 'E' or Charlotte’s Web for 'C'. Easy.
