Would anyone be interested in an informal Buddy Read for The Count of Monte Cristo? I need an accountability partner or I'm just going to get distracted

I would be in - if you don't want to start right away because I have another doorstop to finish first. ;-)
It's one of my favourite books, so I could be persuaded 😁Depends on when though. I'm probably not going to be able to start until around the 20th.
I've started it twice only to be intimidated by its size. Doing a buddy read could also help me get through with it.
I was going to suggest 15th, but I'm happy to start on 20th - gives me more time to finish up some easier reads.

The Count of Monte Cristo is my favourite book and I am happy to read it again. 20th works for me as well.
It has been on my TBR list forever so I would be in to read it. The 20th also works for me.

OK. Not that I'm committing myself to reading that enormous book again. Three times is probably enough for this life, especially when there are so many other books to read, but it is an exceptional yarn.

I really enjoyed this challenge. Thanks to the great minds who put this together and to my team who did an amazing job.
This was a great challenge and really helped me get through my yearly reading goal, not mention paring down my TBR. Hope to team up with you all again!

Always good to help increase your reading towards goal and also decrease your TBR! usually I find that my TBR has equally increased!
