Deedee | 2344 comments Would this series work for Option 4B:

https://www.goodreads.com/series/294175

Some data:
1/ four of the five books have been translated from Japanese to English
2/ there might be a book #6 sometime in a year or two -- or there might NOT be a book #6 ever --
3/ but right now there are 5 books in the series available in the original language of Japanese

Thanks

RedSycamore | 439 comments For option 4B, does the five book limitation only include published books? Would books from a series that lists the 6th/7th/etc books in the series still count if those haven't been published yet?

For example, if The Brides of High Hill was published next month, would the first five books from The Singing Hills Cycle work even though the series page has untitled entries for the 6th-8th books?

Would a series where the unpublished 6th+ book already has an official title still work? or a series where the 6th book was unpublished at the beginning of the challenge but was released between March 1st and May 31st?

i would say that as further books are planned and listed it isn't really a 5 book series. However I will ask the moderators for their opinion first

I am sorry I haven't confirmed this yet one of the moderators did reply to me and said as there are no titles/ dates of publication / ISBN's we could probably ignore the later unpublished books . She said she would ping the other moderators. As i have heard no more I am going to go with what Jayne said and approve this as a 5 book series. Make sure you link to the approval when you post and again I apologise for the delay

Angela | 919 comments Thanks for the approval on The Fury!
Are Option 1.a and Option 2.a the same concept? They are worded differently, yet seem the same (with different phrases of course).

they are both about finding a word in your book title that can be made up of letters in the phrases given. The phrases are of course different.

Remember you have to choose one option and do both the tasks for that option. So if you are doing sand & water you will have to use LA DAME DE FER - some words you could find in a title and use include MADE; DAME; FERAL; FLAME

so these books work We Hunt the Flame
No Game For a Dame
Feral Sins and
Made to Stick: Why Some Ideas Survive and Others Die
