Just read Stranded by Bracken Macleod. In the vein as The Terror by Dan Simmons but in modern times. I’d rate it 4/5. Good writing, kind of a bit crazy at then end but in a good way.
Next up Nekropolis by Tim Waggoner.

The third novel in the Matthew Corbett series is entertaining, certainly, but too many cliches and out-of-character behaviors pulled this one down for me. I will definitely read the 4th book, though.
