Reader | 1 comments For more context, I read this book after borrowing it from my school’s library sometime between 2009 and 2011. I remember I was intrigued at the time by spontaneous human combustion and so read it because of that. I don’t remember any names, but I believe the man that died was the girl’s science teacher. There was a scene where the boy and girl and looking through the dead man’s window trying to find clues and find out what had happened. I know the setting was a small town. I don’t remember much else, but would love to find it as I remember enjoying it. Thank you!

If any of these seem right, we can try to confirm them on OpenLibrary by text. ;)

Becca (beccalikesbooks) | 5548 comments Burning Bones by Christopher Golden and Rick Hautula? The main character is in college but I believe these were marketed as YA when published.
