I hope I can ask this question before groups get formed. For colours cover. Say I have a yellow cover to read but the prompt is for red cover and there’s a red cover edition of same book. Can I use this book and show the red cover even if I’m reading the yellow edition? Hope that makes sense

But please don't forget to set up your UNO shelf,
Thankfully I remembered to do this myself.
In the mean time we're all watching the UNO pre-chat,
laughing and talking while learning the facts.
At this time you should read all the rules,
You may discover they are some great little tools.
While skips and reverse may seem a little tricky,
Ask your captain, don't go searching on Wiki.
There are red cards and blue cards, green and yellow too,
Don't be intimidated, you'll learn what to do!
Uno is fun, it's a great reading challenge!
Keep the TBR handy you will need it to scavenge.
Chatting with your team is just part of fun,
While checking the stats, Is the team #1?
You'll make new friends that enable your addiction
Adding books to your shelf, maybe a mystery or some fiction.
As these friendships continue to develop and grow,
Players remain elated with a love that will overflow!
As the last weeks draw near and we're all in a tizzy,
Quickly reading those books that's keeping us busy.
On the last day, with frowns on our face,
Saddened because we are leaving our happy place.
Mark your calendar and begin to plot,
You'll be ready again because UNO IS HOT!
Now that you know there's no reason to fear,
Our favorite game Uno will return next year!!!

🤣 I've been meaning to do it for several days now, but my grandsons were here and I kept getting sidetracked with them.
I had several ideas/starts, but that was the first one that came into my head today when I sat down and started typing 🤷♀

There are so many players this year! This is awesome!!
I have a question about covers. I understand we are to use the cover of the edition we read.What do we do if our edition is not on goodreads? I find that this happens with more frequency for audiobooks. Do we have to track down a librarian to add it?
For example --
Three's A Crowd -- the audio version available at hoopla has the same cover as the default, but none of the audio versions on goodreads has a cover

Yes, a librarian would then be your best option. Since the default edition will be used for page numbers for audiobooks, you could also shelve the default edition in the cases where your audiobook has the same cover.
Often captains are a librarian or if yours isn’t they will be able to get a librarian in our captains group (including me) to make any updates 😊

📕 Romance, thriller, chick lit, memoirs...little bit of everything
📕 I still really need to read Iron Flame, I got it the day it came out and haven't started yet *facepalm*
