How many people are usually in a team? I apologize if this has been asked before.

message 253: by Melindam (new)

Melindam | 4431 comments It depends on the number of books they read in a month, so it may be from 7 to 10-12 people/team

Haha, I continually hoard colour covers now. See something that fits and pop it in my TBR. 😁

Joyce (eternity21) | 84 comments Here is my try at the AI craze

To my UNO friends, lend me an ear,
A tale of Joyce, let me make it clear.
In the realm of cards, where friendships bloom,
Joyce Gravino, a soul in full bloom.

With mystery's allure, she crafts her delight,
Paranormal whispers, in the still of night.
Science fiction galaxies, where dreams take flight,
Her reading journey, a wondrous height.

In the shadows of words, a touch of horror light,
Joyce embraces the eerie, with courage in sight.
A Kindle in hand, and audio tales in the air,
Every chapter a dance, a literary affair.

Patiently, she savors each sentence and phrase,
In the world of literature, where wonder plays.
A slow reader, but every day a new quest,
In the bookish haven, she finds her best.

So here's to Joyce, with books as her guide,
In the UNO circle, where friendships abide.
A reader, a dreamer, in every way,
Let the cards unfold, let the games begin today!

Maybe 3 pages, one for each month? I usually update everything on the team planning spreadsheet instead of my reading journal. However, I think if I were to keep track of it, I'd probably use at least 3 pages.

Yes! I used 1 full page split in three columns for the three months and then have a dutch door on the other side to stock pile titles. Id send a picture if i could!

I can kinda see it in my head. Would love to yours for sure... Doesn't reach month have multiple hands? *This will be my first time, LOL πŸ˜…*
I want to draw the cards for each hand, so maybe three full pages for each month...? Did you draw the cards on yours or just write what they were?

There are multiple hands- last yr it was 15-17 hands per month but i fit them into a small space because I just number them out. I have more space this yr but will still just list them by number. I drew cards but only for decoration.

message 277: by William (new)

William | 50 comments oh ok awesome! thanks for your input!

message 278: by Denise (new)

Denise (drams5) | 711 comments I've never kept track like that, but I do find it handy to keep a list of book ideas and what they might work for and I write down the "key" in the front of my notebook. (9- N, etc)

Tiffany Martin (tiffany_martin) | 125 comments Would you be willing to share your pages on here so we can have an idea? I plan to make a google drive with my cards - a spead sheet but would love to see what others have used. I am a visual kinda of girl. Thanks in advance.

message 282: by Jenny (new)

Jenny | 2346 comments Roe wrote: "Are you able to upload photos on Goodreads? I’ve never been able to figure that out"

The way I do it is to upload a photo to my profile page, copy that photo (control click for Mac, right click for PC, click on copy photo).

Go to the (some html is ok) link above this message box, find the image instructions- (image: [image error] (Width must be 0-400, Height must be 0-1000, alt is a description of the image. All three are optional, but recommended.).

Copy your image into the spot that contains "h*ttps://www.goodreads.com, adjust the height and width, name your photo if you want where "description" is.

I added the *s in the http bit to keep it from linking to anything.

So, minus the *s, you would have
<*img src="Your image here" width="400" height="300" alt="picture of my cat"/>

Again, lose the * in the line above.

Hope this helps.
I know others can grab images right from the interwebs, but that almost always fails for me. I blame my upbringing.

message 299: by Jax (new)

Jax (jaxn) | 102 comments One of the things I like to track is referral. I use that in conjunction with a rating of books (simple 1-5 scale) so I can see the average for each referral. May not make sense for everyone, but between podcasts, articles, blogs, GoodReads and friends I find it helps to see who does the best at suggesting things I like.
