[close] Members can create events for whatever exchange they wish: opinions at bookclub, books (and other media) at swaps, etc.

Members may and should add swapping events. It's up to the organizer to determine the rules of the event.

Bring whatever books or items you don’t want any more for a variety of exchanges:
Equal swap – a book for a book
Book circle – multiple people exchange one book for another
Give away – simply want to clear out your shelf
Book drawing – offer a book to the pile and add your name to the drawing for a new book.

*Any exchange that all parties agree on is acceptable.

**Avoid loaning out your books you want to keep unless you know that person well.
