Møøńšhådöw and Fangs
"Thank you again!" She said back at Conner who probably ignored it. She grabbed her bag from London and put it over her shoulder. She also didn't let go of his hand as they walked.
"I'm such an idiot." He said as they got outside, not really meaning to say this out loud, but not really caring. "I knew we shouldn't have come here, but we needed a place to go. "I should have known he wouldn't have changed...."
"What happened?" She asked. "I thought we were going to stay a little longer." She still walked besides him out into the desert village.
"He just....said some things." He said quietly, taking in a deep breath. Deciding whether or not tell her what he had said about her, and why he had punched him.
She could tell he didn't want to talk about it so she didn't pressure him. "Oh. Okay." She said with a nod. "Where do we head now then?" She glanced at him then to the wide open space.
"I've been hoping we could avoid it." He said a bit annoyed. "But we'll have to go to a hotel or something. "There should be a bigger town close by, I'll teleport us there and we'll find a hotel."
"The thing is... Money..." She said. She didn't remember herself getting money the first time he showed up. She probably didn't have any now. "Do you have money?" She asked.
"Yeah." He nodded trying to get his mind on other things, rather then what had just happened. "Okay, lets get there and get you out of this heat." He pulled her slightly closer and closed his eyes a bit as quickly teleported away.
She had closed her eyes and when she opened them she saw other people. She walked forward and looked out of place here. She headed to the hotel.
"Stay close to me." He said looking around cautiously, holding her hand slightly tighter as he led the way inside. He didn't like crowds of people, almost as much as he hated completely open spaces. But he kept himself calm and collected as he could.
She looked around and occasionally would get bumped in the shoulder by a person. The air was stuffy with bodies, but for some reason... It reminded her of home. She remembered walking down the street and seeing crowds of people. She smiled slightly.
Once they got inside he headed for the front desk and got a room for them.
"Here you are sir." The man said handing him the key after he had paid. "Have a nice stay." He nodded as he took the key from him and headed toward the room with her again.
"Here you are sir." The man said handing him the key after he had paid. "Have a nice stay." He nodded as he took the key from him and headed toward the room with her again.
She walked behind him and looked around a bit. "I wonder if you could do wards around the room." She blurted out. She had a small feeling demons were watching them.
"I was planning on it..." He said listening but not really paying attention. He had a bad feeling that they wouldn't be able to stay there long either. He looked around as they got to the room and unlocked the door, and waved her in first.
She walked into the room and was slightly disappointed by the size. "This hotel might break in half if a demon tried to ever get in here." She said putting her bag down on the chair and looking at London.
"I know." He said quietly and shut the door. He locked it up then went over to the bed and lay down face first. He felt like he was failing her.
She looked over at London and saw him in his state. She sighed and walked over to the bed. "Hey..." She said softly. "I know things aren't going so... Great, but it will get better soon without a doubt.
"I don't doubt it will." He said quietly. "But after it does...do you know what will happen?" He turned over to look at her. "You'll go off and be some powerful goddess, and I'll have a new charge...."
She got quiet. "Yeah, but it doesn't mean anything." She shook her head. "Plus, you'll get over me for sure. Then, you'll look after your new charge." She moved some hair from his face and smiled.
He looked over at her, wondering if he had made a mistake in saying that. Maybe she didn't feel like that after all. He took in a deep breath and sat up.
"If that's what you want." He said. "I'll put up the wards." He slipped off the bed and went to the door.
"If that's what you want." He said. "I'll put up the wards." He slipped off the bed and went to the door.
She frowned slightly seeing his expression change slightly. She sat on the bed and watched him while biting her lip slightly. 'Maybe I should admit how I feel to him.' She thought.
He closed his eyes and put his hands slightly out in front of him. There was a green light around them as he put his hands on the door. There was a few quick flashes, and some sort of designs on it, before they faded into the door. He then walked over to the window and did the same thing.
She watched and then walked to the door and looked at it. "My question is, how are we going to stop room service from coming in?" She asked.
"I put up different ones this time." He said as he finished with the window. "They're a bit harder to do and take a lot of energy. "It'll detect if we have to worry about them."
She nodded and looked at him. "Smart thinking." She said with a nod. She looked around more in the suite even though there wasn't much to look at. "How long do you think we have to stay?" She asked.
"Depends." He said starting to look around the room to make sure it was secure and he hadn't missed anything. "It could be a day or a few hours. "But we should focus more on training."
"We can't train here if that's what you are implying." She said and sat on the bed. "I don't know what my goddess powers will do. Hell, it might blow up this whole place." She said.
"Are you saying that you think your ready?" He asked curiously. A weird sort of edge to his voice, that he didn't mean to put there.
She sighed and bit her lip slightly. "Maybe... Not really... I don't know." She grabbed the pillow on the bed and held it against her. "I wish I could train forever so I would be better suited to close the gates."
He blew out a breath and shook his head.
"You shouldn't have so much pressure on you." He said very quietly. "One person shouldn't have so much weight on there shoulders...."
"You shouldn't have so much pressure on you." He said very quietly. "One person shouldn't have so much weight on there shoulders...."
"It's fine." She said and looked at him. "I'm fine with putting the weight on my shoulders. Someone has to do it, might as well be me." She smiled encouragingly at him.
He opened his mouth to say something, but he wasn't sure how she would take it or even if he should say it. He knew it would just make everything more complicated, so he quickly closed his mouth and changed the subject.
"How about you order room service." He said. "I'm going to wash up. "Call Jensen if you need anything."
"How about you order room service." He said. "I'm going to wash up. "Call Jensen if you need anything."
She nodded and got up to the phone. She looked at the room service number and ordered some ice cream knowing it would lighten the mood. She sat on the bed and didn't like the silence. "Jensen." She called.
London went into the bathroom, and stood there for a few moments before he got undressed and got into the shower.
Jensen appeared next to her and smiled slightly.
"Hello." He said. "Do you need something?"
Jensen appeared next to her and smiled slightly.
"Hello." He said. "Do you need something?"
"Nope. I just wanted someone to talk to since London was in the shower. She shifted in the bed to face him. "London has been acting really different lately, it's like he cares more... Did you tell him something?"
"I told him nothing." He shook his head. "All I said was not to be so oblivious to everything." He shrugged slightly. "And he does care for you....more then you know. "He just doesn't know if he should tell you."
She sighed and laid back on the bed. "I would be fine if he tells me. I think he's just in nervous. Which, I guess it's normal." She looks up at the ceiling. "I'm afraid to tell him how I feel because of his past relationships." She bit her lip.
"It's not just that." He said. "There is a worse punishment if he goes against the rules again." He looked over to the bathroom door as he heard the shower turn off, but then realized something. "I think I have an idea. "But in the mean time...don't worry about what happened in the past okay."
"What's your idea?" She said quickly and wished London took longer during his shower. "Please tell me before London comes out." She grabbed Jensen's arm.
"There is a loophole in that rule." He said thoughtfully. "Guardians are not allowed to be with a human, but technically you are not human." He smiled slightly and quickly disappeared as London came out of the bathroom.
She smiled slightly though at the plan as he disappeared and her hand was just hanging in the air. She looked over at London and smiled. "You enjoyed the bath?" She asked.
"It was fine." He said drying off his hair with a towel. He then tossed it to the side and pulled on his shirt. He looked over to her and blinked a few times, wondering why she was smiling but decided not to ask. "Did you get food?"
She nodded. "Ice cream. It should be coming, but I'm wondering what's taking so long." She said and looked at his body for a moment. 'Probably because he works out than a lot of boys my age.' She thought to herself.
"You sure you just want ice cream?" He asked curiously. "You know you can get whatever else you want. "Ice cream is great, but I know you probably should eat more then just that." He said it like he wasn't sure, since he didn't really eat anything except things he liked.
She sighed. "Really. I don't want to eat anything." She said honestly. She had been worried about everything that she probably couldn't even stomach the ice cream. She was hoping to just hand it off to London.
"Okay." He said shrugging slightly. "Just making sure." He had been trying to go back to just being his old normal self, just training and not really caring about anything except for what his job was. Now it was a lot more difficult to go back to.
She nodded and hugged to pillow to her. She looked out the window. "Do you think we should just head back? I don't know where else to train." She said changing the topic of food back to her goddess powers.
He blinked a few times as he looked back over to her, before he sighed and looked down.
"I...have a few more things you could know." He said quietly, quickly looking back up. "But I suppose...if you think your ready..."
"I...have a few more things you could know." He said quietly, quickly looking back up. "But I suppose...if you think your ready..."
She opened her mouth to say something when there was knock on the door. "Must be room service." She let go of the pillow and walked to the door. When she opened it, she looked up and met the eyes of total darkness. The man's eyes were black entirely. The man suddenly lunged at her and started to choke her on the ground. She quickly started to thrash around to get out of his hands.

"Sira, lets get out of here." He said going into the room and grabbing the bags then taking her hand, leading the way out.
