"Sira!" He yelled as he saw the door open and her standing there. His eyes widened when he saw the demon charging at her, seeing it was a high level one. He gritted his teeth and unfurled his wings launching himself toward them.

"Wait London!" She yelled. She quickly started to run forward in a attempt to help. She would hate to see him hurt at all. 'He doesn't deserve to get hurt.' She thought as she tried to gather her energy in her hand.
"Just stay back!" He yelled. "Get back inside and lock the door back up!" He quickly tackled the demon to the ground, his fists glowing purple as he started punching him. Making his punches a lot harder.
"But..." She remembered his past and bit her lip. 'I'm not her. I can defend myself.' She thought. She closed her eyes and instantly, her hand had the energy. "London! Back up!" She yelled to him.
He quickly looked up at her, about to be angry for her not listening to him when he saw her hand. He opened his mouth to speak, but the demon knocked him off hard. He yelped in pain and rolled over to the side on his back.
Before the monster could come toward him, she shot the air toward the monster. In a gust of wind, the demon exploded and back blood exploded everywhere. She wiped some black blood off her and walked to London.
London covered his face as it exploded everywhere. He was shocked for a few moments as he realized was had happened. But he quickly shook it off, and groaned as he pushed himself to his feet. He looked around to see if there was anymore, before looking over at her.
"Lets hurry back inside." He said quietly walking passed her, not saying anything else.

She got quiet and followed behind him with her head down. She closed the door behind them and looked outside and could see where the demon exploded. She wiped her jeans again and looked at him.
He locked the door back up after the door was closed, the ward going back up. He took in a very deep breath and turned to face her.
"Normally I would be screaming at you right now." He said slowly. "And you know I still might, one for not listening to me in the first place. "And two for not listening to me again. "But...." He took a few steps toward her and put his hands on her shoulders. "I am proud of you right now."

She got quiet instantly. The words made her heart beat faster and faster. Tears slightly brimmed her eyes. She quickly hugged him. "Thank you. Those are the best words ever." She said still hugging him.
His eyes widened as she hugged him, and for a few moments he had no idea what to do. His arms just hanging there for a second, before he slowly hugged her back. It was a strange thing to be hugging someone else after so many years, but it was sort of nice too. He took in a deep breath and pulled away after a few more moments.
"I think...that's enough practice for today." He said nodding.
"I think...that's enough practice for today." He said nodding.
"Okay..." She said with a nod. "I'm going to lay down in the bed. It's already late." She gave him a pat on a shoulder and walked to her room. The words echoed in her head and it made her giddy. She laid down and closed her eyes.
He watched her go, and ran a hand through his hair. Something about how far she had already come, in just a day made him a bit happy. It meant he was doing his job right, and he was getting through to her at least a bit. He let out a breath and slowly went into the kitchen.
She couldn't go to sleep because she was smiling so much. She got up and saw he was in the kitchen. She quickly hid behind her door and watched whatever he was doing.
He opened up the freezer and pulled out a thing of ice cream. Closing it back up, then grabbing a spoon before walking out in the living room and sitting down. He opened up the top and sighed before taking a bite.
"Are you just going to spy on me?" He asked.
"Are you just going to spy on me?" He asked.
She was quiet for a few moments. "Maybe." She said. She opened the door and sat next to him. "Okay. Spying is boring." She got up and got herself a spoon. She sat back down and ate some for herself.
"You say that like you know from experience." He smirked, looking over at her, and swallowing another huge bite of ice cream. "Was there someone you use to spy on a lot?"
"When I was little I would like to hide in places to spy on my parents. That's really the only time I have spied on people." She said and stuck her spoon in the ice cream.
He nodded his head as he listened to her. Glancing over at her for a moment, before looking forward again.
"I...had to spy on certain people for a few years." He said quietly. "They moved my jobs around for a very long time."
"I...had to spy on certain people for a few years." He said quietly. "They moved my jobs around for a very long time."
"I guess you were spying on me as well. I don't see anything wrong with spying if it's for the right reasons you know." She stuck her spoon in the ice cream again.
"Hmmm...." He pressed his lips together for a moment, laying his head back against the couch. "I don't know if you would still be saying that if you knew some of the things I knew about you...."
She put the ice cream halfway in her mouth and then glanced at him. Her heart started to race. 'Does he know about the adoption center? Does he know about my forgetful parents? Did he see the fire?' She thought.
He looked over at her, seeing her reaction to that. He sighed and set the ice cream down between them.
"I know a lot, but it's only to better protect you." He said quietly getting to his feet. "Nothing more." He said this more for his benefit then for hers. "I'm going to....go downstairs. "You should rest."

"Wait! I want to eat the ice cream with you! You can tell me how proud you are and stuff." She held up the tub of ice cream to him. "Pleaseeeeeeeeeee." She begged.
He turned around and looked over at her, wondering why she suddenly wanted to be around him so badly. He blinked a few times and sighed, running a hand through his hair.
"When did this come on?" He asked curiously. "You were so opposed to me before, and now you want to...hang out with me?"
"When did this come on?" He asked curiously. "You were so opposed to me before, and now you want to...hang out with me?"
She nodded. "You told me you were proud of me. Also, we were having a good time. Eating tubs of ice creams always forms bonds." She waved the ice cream. "I don't care that you know some stuff. As long as you don't tell anyone I'm alright with that."
He let out a breath and shook his head.
"The only bond we should have is that I'm your guardian." He said quietly. "And I am proud of you, you have made good progress. "But don't misunderstand, bad things happen when it's beyond that."

She remembered his backstory and lowered the tub. "Oh... Okay. You can go back down... I'll just eat something else by myself." She stood up and walked to the kitchen.
He watched her curiously for a few moments, something was definitely different. But he couldn't really figure out what, so he silently headed back downstairs. He was about to head over to start training again, but for some reason he couldn't really focus on it. He sighed heavily and sat down, leaning his head back.
"Jensen." He called closing his eyes tightly. "Would you...spend some time with her?"
"Of course." He appeared for a moment before appearing upstairs behind her.
"Jensen." He called closing his eyes tightly. "Would you...spend some time with her?"
"Of course." He appeared for a moment before appearing upstairs behind her.
She got a drink and when she suddenly saw Jensen there, she aciddenly spilled her drink on him. "Uh... Sorry." She said already going to get towels.
"Oh." He shook his head slightly. "Do not worry." He waved his hand over the spot and it dried quickly. He smiled for a moment, before he looked up at her. "Is something the matter?"
She sighed. 'I guess it's okay to tell him.' She said. She hoped up on the counter. "Since I was little, I wanted to be around people. I liked to talk to them you know. At the orphanage, I tried to talk to the girls, but they would run away. I don't really like it when I have to be alone, but sometimes I kind of know it's the way things are." She sipped her drink.
He nodded his head understandingly and looked back behind himself.
"He is the same you know." He said. "He does not like being alone. "But ever since...." He paused for a moment, before he continued. "He thinks that it is the best way to keep people safe, he has not been close to anyone since then. "He and I even use to be very close, but he has pushed me away as well."

She looked down at her drink. "He's great though. I loved it when he admitted that he loved the ice cream. It made him look innocent. Also, I was so happy when he said he was proud. No one had ever said that before to me. I wish he wasn't so... You know."
"I know." He nodded slowly, then smiled. "Ice cream has been one of his favorite for a long time. "He always keeps a bunch on hand. "I am glad he had least opened up a bit to you." He thought for a moment before he realized something. "That is the most he's opened up in years. "Maybe you are just what he needs."
Sira smiled slightly. "Thank you." She said. "Maybe, but... I'm afraid I'll mess it up." She said rubbing the back on her neck and holding her drink in the other hand. "I may like him a little, but if I try to get close to him, he might think back to his last charge."
He sighed and shook his head.
"He needs to know that it's okay to move on." He said firmly. "She would have wanted him to, I know that for a fact." He smiled slightly. He took in a very deep breath. "But right now, I can tell you both need a friend. "And if you need to, you can tell him that you know what actually happened."

She nodded slightly. "Okay." She sipped her drink then smiled at him. "Thank you." She said and jumped off the counter. "I'm glad your London's assistant. Thank you again for helping me and helping him.
"No need to thank me." He shook his head. "I am here to help anyway I can. "I have been with London since I can remember. "But....that's a story for another time." He smiled and laughed a bit. "I have a feeling tomorrow is going to be even longer, you should get some rest."
She put her drink down and nodded. "Alright. Don't tell London I like him." She said quietly then she smiled. "I should probably get to bed." She patted his shoulder.
"Your secret is safe with me." He said softly. "You sleep well." He smiled a bit. "And if you need anything, you can just call me. "I will be more then happy to help."
She nodded and walked to her room. She let out a yawn and plopped herself on the bed. She rolled herself in the covers. She put her head down and slept.
London managed to train a little bit, on and off here and there. Before he knew it the sun had come up again. He had a feeling today was going to be longer then the day before. He took in a very deep breath and headed back up.
Sira still slept and kept having dreams of her darkest moments. She hugged the pillow she had put her head on and curled up. 'Calm down. They are just dreams.' She tried to tell herself.
He set up the training area for a bit harder training before he headed upstairs. He looked out the window and saw the sun was already fully up. He had went against his up early rule so she could sleep a bit more, though he wasn't sure why. He headed down the hallway and walked into the room.
She had waken up slightly, but was still drowsy and sleepy. So, she was half asleep. She shifted in the bed so the covers were scattered awkwardly.
He blinked for a second as he watched her sleeping there. He realized he was staring and quickly shook it off going over to the bed and gently shaking her awake.
"Sira." He said. "Time to wake up."
"Sira." He said. "Time to wake up."
She opened her eyes and looked at him. She sighed and yawned. "I know." She said in between stretches. She put the pillow back and fixed the covers quietly.
"Um..." he took a few steps back and took in a breath. "When...when your ready come downstairs please." He gulped for some reason and quickly left the room.
