"No!" He yelled as he felt her hand slip from his, and saw her being dragged away from him. He quickly flew after her, and grabbed her hands tugging her back. But he felt something trying to still pull her away.

She gritted her teeth as she felt like the rope in a tug and war match. She looked back and saw a shadowy hand clamped on her ankle. But, the rest of the shadows was in the gates of hell.
"Let her go!" He yelled angrily as he finally saw what it was that had her. He made sure he still had a grip on her, before he lifted his hand and shot a blue like missile at it. There was a few seconds that it loosened it's grip and he took the opportunity, pulling her quickly out of its grasp and flying as fast as he could away with her.
She squeezed her eyes shut as she realized they were flying fast. She gripped him tightly and felt more shadows coming for them. She glanced behind him and saw dark patches following them. "London." She said nervously.
"I know." He said breathing heavily. He wasn't sure if he would be able to outrun all of them, but he was going to try. "Just hold on tight." He said speeding up a bit more.
She did hold on tight and heard his fast breathing. She was nervous if he goes to face he might fall, but he really had no choice on the matter. She squeezed her eyes shut.
He quickly glanced back seeing they had gotten a lot closer, he gritted his teeth. Not know what he was supposed to do now. He looked down at her and sighed.
"Do you trust me?" He asked quietly, looking down at her.
"Do you trust me?" He asked quietly, looking down at her.
She looked up at London. These questions at a time of death never works out well. She knew this and she wanted to say no to whatever he was thinking. Instead, she said, "I trust you."
He let out a slow breath and flew down to the ground fast, dropping her off on the ground and flying back up to the demons. He hovered a bit away from them, before they got close enough. He started to flap his wings furiously hard and fast. They stopped quickly in there tracks as they struggled to get closer, the air from his wings pushing them back. There was a brief pause as suddenly the air stopped and his wings started glowing brightly.
"Cover your eyes!" He yelled down to her, as the light around his wings grew brighter and bright until it grew blinding and seemed to burst from them.
"Cover your eyes!" He yelled down to her, as the light around his wings grew brighter and bright until it grew blinding and seemed to burst from them.
She quickly covered her eyes and got to her knees. She felt the light as if it was a person hugging her. She heard the hisses and horrid screams from the dying demons who hate the angelic light.
London let out a breath as he slowed his wings to almost barely moving and came back down to the ground beside her. As soon as his feet touched the ground he fell to his knees, trying to catch his breath.
She opened her eyes and looked over at London. She quickly scrambled over and hugged him. "Thank you." She said. She knew he was tired so she just wanted to sit there for a couple of minutes as he got his strength back.
"Yeah, of course." He said smiling a bit. He scooted around until he was sitting down and leaned his head back a bit. "I really should practice those spells more..." He said, and laughed sort of weakly.
She sighed and started to get worried about him. She sat down besides him and wrapped one arm around him to support him up. "Yeah. You should." She said softly.
He looked over at her and smiled slightly.
"Hey, I'm okay." He said pushing himself up a bit, and wrapping his arm around her waist. "How about you? "Are you hurt at all?"
"Hey, I'm okay." He said pushing himself up a bit, and wrapping his arm around her waist. "How about you? "Are you hurt at all?"
She nodded. "Yeah. Kind of in shocked by what all happened, but you know..." She said softly with a small smile. She moved closer to him. "I'm just glad nothing bad happened."
"Me too." He whispered quietly, he sat there with her for a few moments longer before he kissed the top of her head. "We should head back." He still wondered what happened to Pairs. Some guardian, he thought to himself sarcastically. As much as he hated to think it, he knew they could have used his help too.
She sighed softly and got up. She helped him up as well. "I don't want you to use your wings. I think you used them plenty. Let's walk back." She said softly.
He hadn't planned on using them for a little while at least. But he smiled slightly and nodded his head.
"Alright." He said. "It's to much of a walk back anyway."
"Alright." He said. "It's to much of a walk back anyway."
She heard something and was afraid it was another demon when Paris flew down. "Where were you guys?! I was being attacked back at the cave!" Paris said angrily at London.
London scoffed and rolled his eyes hearing what he said. He narrowed his eyes at him, and took a few annoyed steps toward him.
"We kind of had problems of our own." He spat back. "And you should have been with us, or did you forget your also supposed to be protecting her."
"We kind of had problems of our own." He spat back. "And you should have been with us, or did you forget your also supposed to be protecting her."
"I was helping you!" Paris said. "As you two ran off I was about to follow when demons started to come out. I had to defeat them all by myself so it wouldn't go after Sira." He growled at him. Sira sighed. 'Here we go again.' She thought.
"Whatever." He said shaking his head. "Just...stop... "She's safe, and right now that's all that should matter." He sighed and ran a hand through his hair. "If you have a problem with that, lets discuss it not here."
"Obviously. I managed to put a ward on the cave while you two were gone. We should start to head back." Paris started to walk back. Sira glanced at London and then walked behind Paris.
London let out a angry breath, and followed next to her. He glanced over at Pairs for a moment as they got back to the cave. He blew out a breath as they got closer, glancing over to Pairs for a moment. He couldn't help but roll his eyes as he looked away.
"Stop it dude! I know what you are doing and it's slightly pissing me off." Paris said back at London. Sira walked past the two and into the cave again. She didn't want to listen to them.
"I am not in the mood to argue with you right now." He said walking passed him. "I'm sore and tired, and just want to sit for a few minutes, without having to listen to you." He flopped down on the couch and lay his head back against it.
Paris sighed and walked into the cave as well. "Whatever. I'm taking one of the beds to rest." He walked away. Sira came towards him and sat down on the floor in front of the couch. "You really hate him huh?"
"You have no idea." He said quietly, lifting his head and looking down at her. "I really don't want to talk about it. "But you've seen how he is, he's always been that way."
"Maybe he has a reason..." She said quietly. "Do you really know him?" She looked at him. She remembered before she had met London, she used to push people away from her on purpose because she was afraid.
"We were recruits together." He said thoughtfully. "I don't know, he was added a bit later then the rest of us. "It was just...always tense between us. "He never explained it."
She got quiet. "I think you should give him a chance. You don't know what happened to him." She said closing her eyes.
He sighed heavily and leaned back against the couch again.
"Maybe." He said quietly. It was going to be difficult to do, but he knew there arguing had been getting to her. So he would definitely do his best to try.

"Just consider it." She said. "Hey, quick question, are your parents like angels? I'm curious about the whole reproduction of angels." She said.
He smiled and chuckled slightly.
"It's rare for an Angel to be actually born as a Angel." He said sitting up. "The rest of them are people that died along time ago."
"It's rare for an Angel to be actually born as a Angel." He said sitting up. "The rest of them are people that died along time ago."
"Then... Does that mean you have died?" She asked softly. She glanced over at him and shifted on the floor so she sat facing the bed. She was curious about him most of all.
He smiled and slid on the ground beside her.
"Actually, no." He said softly, shaking his head. "I'm one of the rare ones." He chuckled slight, a bit sheepishly. "I guess that's why people expected more out of me. "Was always an Angel..." He shrugged slightly.

She nodded slightly. "So, your parents were angels... What were they like?" She saw him slide next to her and she scooted closer to him on impulse.
"My father was...is....a general I guess you would call him." He said quietly. "He was always strict, but my mom was there to sort of....balance it all out, you know."
She nodded slightly. She thought it would be cool to have a general as a father since you won't be forgotten. "So, your father would be strict while your mother was gentle?"
"Yeah." He nodded and smiled. "She would always make me feel better after he would...give me one of his talks. "I wish you could meet them. "Dad's hard to take sometimes, but he's a good man. "And mom...she would love you to pieces."
She smiled a bit and nodded. "That sounds nice. I would love to meet them as well." She said even though it hurt. She remembered her parents vaguely. But, she also remembered everything that followed.
He looked over at her, and sighed as he remembered. He tried to think of something to change the subject, before he remembered something else.
"Hey, wait right here." He quickly teleported away, and came back in a few seconds. "Close your eyes."

She tilted her head slightly and then remembered the gift thing. She smiled brightly and closed her eyes tightly. She prepared for the gift.
He smiled as he saw her smile, and waited until she closed her eyes.
"Okay..." He bit his lip as he put a necklace around her neck and sat back. "Alright, open them."

She opened her eyes and she felt the necklace around her neck. She smiled brightly as she saw it. "It's so beautiful!" She said happily. "I love it!" She hugged him.
He smiled and hugged her back.
"I'm glad you like it." He said. "It's...a Angel stone." He pulled away a bit and took it between his fingers and it gave a dim glow. "It also burns demons if they touch it."

She smiled a bit and cupped the crystal in her hands. "Thank you... Thank you so much." She said opening her hands so she could see the faint glow of the crystal. "I wish I had someway to repay you..."
"You don't need to do that." He smiled a bit more as he watched her. "I love you." He whispered softly to her. "And that's more then enough for me. "This...will protect you, if I'm not able to. "Or if you somehow can't."
