Annual Challenge 2024 - Read a series
I think I'll sign up for this one this year, please.I've been tossing up between Michael Connelly and Deborah Crombie, but think I'll go for the Duncan Kincaid/Gemma James series, even though I've already started reading the first Harry Bosch! I'll add the books soon, thanks :)

I am still deciding what to read. My problem is that once I get my teeth stuck into a series, I want to really BINGE. For example, I started the Maisy Dobbs series on 29 Dec and I'm already up to book 9! 😂 It's a fabulous series, by the way, and well worth adding to your TBR.
I thought I had found a series - the Flavia De Luce books - that I could spread across the year. I even counted them . . . yes, there are exactly 12 books. How serendipitous! Then I take a closer look and see book 11 is out this year with book 12 out in 2025. 🤦♀️
I know I will find something but it made me laugh that what I thought would be an easy challenge is proving more difficult than anticipated. 😀

I'm going to have to retire from this challenge, sorry. I set up for the early Peter Corris novels. I enjoyed the first one but the second one is so full of casual racism and sexism that I'm stuck. It was pretty normal for it's time but I just can't come at the thought of another ten.

I started reading the Rivers of London series and it has 9 books. But there are novellas in between numbered 4.5, 7.5, etc. All about 200p.Together there's 13-14 books. Is this allowed?
