Children’s Book- Girl wakes up in a park with no memory of who she is or how she got there

Read this book many years ago. It was about a girl who woke up in (I think) a park with no memory of who she was or how she got there. She wonders out of the park and possibly over a bridge into the town looking for help. I think she gets hurt or something and ends up in an orphanage or something but she still has no memories so the whole thing was pretty confusing but would really like to find the book again. I know it’s not a lot to go on but I remember I really enjoyed the story so if there is any chance I could find it again it would be great to read it once more.
