I just finished HeartBroken by Serena Valentino. 5 stars. I am a big Disney fan, and I love these twisted fairy tales.

I read A Brief History of Time by Andrew H. Knoll and rated it 3 stars because there were too many entire paragraphs about specific elements and I am not a scientist. The dinosaur chapter was good though
I have finished two books today:Shadow Divers
Robert Kurson
5 stars!
This is so vivid! It's nonfiction that really makes you feel like you are there with the divers trying to solve the mystery of this World War II U-boat (and the U means "unterseeboot" which means "under sea boat"). This is a real page turner. Almost reads like fiction.
The Berry Pickers
Amanda Peters
3 stars.
I know this book is very popular but it didn't do much for me. I wanted a real mystery but the mystery was solved by page 23! Not what I was expecting. At all. Plus the entire story was depressing.
Love Uncovered: A Spicy Summer Holiday Rom-Com, Your Next Unputdownable Beach Read5 stars.
A great summer read and also funny!
I just finished Ain't Nobody's Fool, a biography of Dolly Parton. I really enjoyed this one, as it is chock full of new information about the influences of her life. It is coming out at the end of December. Here is my review:https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...
I just finished Black Dahlia by Willam J. Mann. I gave it 5 stars for its detailed study of this grusome murder, and the new information he brought to the table. Here is my review:https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...
I finished 3 books today! The Royal Hunt of the Sun
Peter Shaffer
I rated this old play 2 stars. It was pretty boring and I struggled to read it. It's about Pizarro invading the Incas in Peru.
The Amalfi Curse
Sarah Penner
Rated this 4 stars.
It's a good story and has a duel timeline. About sea witches.
A Pony in the Picture: Vintage Portraits of Children
and Ponies
Victoria Randall
4 stars.
Vintage photos of children with ponies. Plus short paragraphs of texts with info. The details you see in the pictures is very interesting.
Last book I read was The Women by Kristin which was about war. And how war affects life of that particular veteran. I would give 4 star !!!!

Today I finished The Mother Next Door: Medicine, Deception, and Munchausen by Proxy
Andrea Dunlop
I rated this 4 stars.
What these mothers who have Munchausen do was very shocking!
I have finished The Fourth Monkey
J.D. Barker
I rated it 3 stars. I found it to be kind of average serial killer story and I wasn't really compelled to read it.
I have finished More Was Lost: A Memoir
Eleanor Perényi
5 stars!! This was just so incredibly vivid! I was totally hooked and I read it on one sitting!
I just finished Dead of Summer
Jessa Maxwell
4 stars.
This was a slow build mystery about two women going to an isolated island with weird, reclusive people. Each goes there for their own reasons. The final end was shocking.
Kellie wrote: "Triptych by Karin Slaughter. Loved it and gave it 5 stars"Hi, Just wanted to say that both of the series by Slaughter are incredibly good! The " Grant County" novels are outstanding but I love the "Will Trent" series, too. I read them backwards, ha, ha. Not recommended.

Once Upon A Broken Heart gave it 4 stars for its uniqueness. I'm intereted in the rest of the series and hope for its quality to continue.
I just finished The Madness of King George
Alan Bennett
I rated it 3 stars.
The plot definitely made me very curious about what problem afflicted king George III but there were too many minor characters in the play so it got rather confusing.
You Killed Me First by John MarrsYou Killed Me FirstThis guy knows how to write a twisty novel! I've read most of his books and this one definitely had me metaphorically clutching my pearls and gasping in shock a few times.
