I can't write a novel and read a novel at the same time. When I am done writing my novel, I want to finish Count My Lies by Sophie Stava. At the page I left off, it was reading as a four or five star book.

The Once and Future Witches by Alix E. Harrow - 5/5, and possibly book of the year so far
A Dowry of Blood was fantastic. Betrayal, gothic atmosphere, vampires, finding the courage to stand up and fight.

I just finished Robots, please by Jared Bentley. it was definitely different than what I'm used to reading, like thrillers and such, but I would give it a 4 .5 out of 5.

A Beauty Queen's Guide to Murder and Mayhem - an ARC from Netgalley. It was OK. too YA for me though. but I'd definitely recommend it to those new to the suspense and mystery genre. 2.5 stars
The Vanishing Half by Brit Bennett I absolutely loved it. 4.25 stars
