The last book read was "The check and mate by Ali Hazelwood ", I rated it 3.25 stars. Loved her writing as usual but it wasn't a 5 star energy one which is usually the case for me, otherwise it was fantastic!❤️💯

Just finished "Yeonnam-dong's Smiley Laundromat". Rated five stars. I honestly think it deserved all of them, and has entered my top three fav books, which had been unchanged for a decade

New author recommended on Kindle Unlimited and have read all three unable to put down. The characters draw you in and I don't know what to do until next book comes out. It's like you get invested in characters and you can't wait to see what happens.

The Tenant by Freida McFadden 1 star....it was boring and her second worst book of all time. I truly hated The Crash and this was no difference. She could have done so much more to this story and it was nothing to write home about.

I think I'm on a trend of reading books about wayward girls / women and lost / abandoned children.
'When We Were Real' by Daryl Gregory. I gave this book 5 stars. Not usually handing out 5's but this one struck a note with me.
Slow Slide into the Truth: A Therapist's Tale by Kim St Clair. 3 stars.
I read The Midnight Library, I rated it 2,5 stars. I liked the idea, but the writing and worldbuilding was boring.
I read The Unmaking of June Farrow by Adrienne Young. It was an amazing read. I loved the plot. It was very engaging with just the perfect pace.
