The Wager by David Grann. 5 Stars!!! That story is so incredible that if it was fiction, I would have dropped it half way through thinking, "this is just not believable". It was a great read!
The Penance of Valentine Cash by Rebecca Rook. 4.5 ⭐Modern retelling of the 12 labors of Hercules. It definitely gives The Good Place, but darker vibes.
masked only his. rated it 4. originally upset by the ending but the last sentence made me rethink. i wish goodreads allowed half stars
Fortune's Children: The Fall of the House of Vanderbilt by Arthur T. Vanderbilt II, (3/5)- NonfictionThey were the Kardashians of their age, basically. Please make sure to read the reviews and go in with the right expectations.
It's a parade of parties very funny and well narrated almost like a novel at times.
Mirror of Malice 5* kick ass fairytale retelling, mix of snow white and robin hood. swoony, sassy, 7 thieves, and a slow burn E>L romance
