Desley (Cat fosterer) (booktigger) | 12593 comments Evening, forgot to say yesterday, I got confirmation PetPlan have paid my vet, but slightly confused by the claim, the meds were around £55, but the claim was for £80ish, they've paid all bar my excess, so the vets have had just over £60 - bonus is I won't have to pay anything, just can't quite work out what they've claimed for given I've paid for everything apart from that bottle (and was randomly in credit), must ring them tomorrow to find out. Mixed weather today, the heavy rain stopped as I'd finished one chore, so decided to risk walking round to Lidl for cat treats, by the time I'd got back we had blue skies, so risked pegging the washing out, it stayed dry all afternoon. Bit sniffly today, as well as bad throat.

Desley (Cat fosterer) (booktigger) | 12593 comments Evening, had a ridiculously bad night sleep, though fortunately one where you feel human the day after. I noticed last night that the underneath of my foot, around my bunion is also swollen, so no wonder it's been painful to walk! Luckily I got my rheumatology consult today, ironically he rang 5 mins early and actually apologised for being early, I told him I was just grateful for getting a call and explained the issues with the last two apps! I got a really nice advanced practitioner nurse, who was happy to answer questions, he's going to send me for physio and an ultrasound and hopefully do a follow up in 6-8 weeks. I had thought that this new medication would be a replacement, so was worried when some of my old symptoms came back and needed my old meds increasing to control them, but he said it is common to be on both kinds of medications, though afterwards that did depress me slightly as it's possibly for life. Downside is that increasing my old meds makes me really itchy, but I'd rather be itchy than in pain, his only suggestion for that is increasing my anti-inflams, as I'm on a low dose of those too. On the plus side, he didn't tell me off for just self medicating and is one of the few people who was sympathetic for me getting an OCT scan through Specsavers when I am supposed to get them for free, he did say ophthalmology back log is quite long.

Alicia Ehrhardt (aliciabutcherehrhardt) | 4834 comments Good to have the doctor on your side - one who treats you as knowing your own body.

Had a video visit with a doctor today - didn't have to move heaven and earth to get to Sacramento, have a 15 minute visit, and get home. I've been discharged, so it's "nothing we can think to do" but I'm more or less coping.

Desley (Cat fosterer) (booktigger) | 12593 comments Evening, slept through till about 4.20, which was nice, though was just starting to get sleepy again about 20 mins before the alarm went off! Went for my blood tests before work, luckily where I park isn't far from the hospital, so walked up to it, though went in the opposite door to normal, which meant I got lost! Got there as they opened, had to wait 10 mins, but got a lovely nurse, as I was putting my coat on told her to have a nice day and said I was off to work myself, and she told me that while they don't advertise it, they are open from 8 for people who work, so will remember that next time. One of our engineers had to ring in sick with shingles, so got to work at 9 to a mad panic trying to rearrange appointments, then work was coming in quicker than we could process it, so I keep feeling like I'm not working quickly enough, but suspect it's just so much coming in that it looks like we aren't getting through much. On the plus side one of the managers said she missed me yesterday, and a friend from another team caught me at lunch and said she missed me, she was going to message me to check I was OK but it showed I was offline, then before she got chance to this morning, she heard my voice, so that was nice. Got another rheumatology check up in 8 weeks, so at least the bloke is keeping to his word. Had weather warnings for thunderstorms, heavy rain started when I was minutes away from home, but not for long and no thunder. Foot was killing, suspect it didn't like the extra walking today, but also wonder if there is a connection with the weather.

Sorry that they can't think of anything more for you Alicia, but glad you are more or less coping, and checks without leaving your house are nice (though sometimes I'd prefer face to face with my rheumatology, trying to describe things like swelling isn't always easy)

Desley (Cat fosterer) (booktigger) | 12593 comments Evening, had a mixed night sleep, woke up with a swollen foot and such a frustrating day at work, still sorting things out with engineer being off sick and some things that should have been simple and straight forward ended up being tricky and had to speak to colleague loads for advice today. Had to speak to the person who is stepping in for engineer this morning to remind him to send us some information ASAP after the appointment, so this afternoon he decided to ring to give it to me - we are used to these coming via e-mail, so my options were deal with it myself, or type it up, e-mail it for someone (possibly me!) to deal with at some point, so ended up doing them all, but at least we got them, he is known for forgetting and having to be chased, so I did give him some praise to one of the managers. Plus a couple of urgent things, neither of which were straightforward and also took a few phone calls. Did get one thing off my to do list though, which was nice, I've been trying to do it since last Fri. Was a nice day at least, went for a walk after work, but foot is too painful to go far, so just had a look at the geese, but they were all in the field, then got my prescription, checked bargains in the shops, and had to put my foot up when I got home.

Alicia Ehrhardt (aliciabutcherehrhardt) | 4834 comments Sorry your foot is giving you trouble - again.

Work sounds stressful right now - hope it settles down. Having to chase people to get information is unprofessional - they should hand it over if it's part of their job without having to be nagged!

Rosemary (grooving with the Picts) (nosemanny) | 8590 comments Sorry to hear that Janet. Take care of yourself x

I'm not sleeping well either but it's probably stress! Father in law's estate papers are now off to the Court of Session for confirmation (that's what probate is called in Scotland) so that's nearing completion. Then the house will need to be sold although a lot of clearing has now been done. My mother is hugely improved so now she'll be lined up for the valve replacement that she was due to have five days after she had the stroke... And we're also waiting for a date for husband's surgery. I'm fine (!) but clearly have had such a drastic haircut today that even the engineers working on rebuilding the storm damage at the harbour noticed!!
Today was the first warm day we've had this year - sunrise 4.23 this morning (I saw it) and sunset will be 22.02 (I'll be asleep by then!)

Desley (Cat fosterer) (booktigger) | 12593 comments Evening all, woke up around 4.15 again. Much better day at work, we have a new monthly task to ring about 50 people, one colleague started it yesterday, the plan was for me to pick it up and then let other colleague know when I got bored, however I seem to be the only one who enjoys this task, so I just did pretty much all of them! We've come to an agreement that I'll do the bulk of them going forward as long as one of them do a task I don't like. Did a couple of other things too, so felt like the most productive day in a while. Had to go back to the chemist at lunch, they hadn't given me my nasal spray again, but as the prescription had been written on, had to check if I could take it elsewhere or if I needed the doc to write a prescription from someone else, I can take it elsewhere. Ended up out longer than planned, bumped into someone I know who was waiting for a friend, who was over half an hour late, I spoke to her for most of that time. Just had a little wander after work as foot is quite swollen today and painful to walk on, guessing temps of 21 hasn't helped.

I've always worked with people (mainly men) I've had to nag for information Alicia, so it's normal to me! Plus he is only covering, it isn't his usual job, and at least today he has e-mailed things rather than ring me. Sorry that things still aren't sorted with your mum's affairs MT. Janet, I'm so sorry to hear that, hope you are OK x Sounds very hectic R, no wonder you aren't sleeping well!

We've just had probate granted so now it's all hands to the pump to pay the bequests and clear the house.

A sad indictment, but if you know that's true, you don't wait around for people to provide you with information - you nag it out of them. Perfect revenge! I hope it gives you some internal satisfaction. And yes, I have some experience with the problem.

Desley (Cat fosterer) (booktigger) | 12593 comments At the last place I often collared people in the kitchen and stood in the door getting what information I wanted before I'd let them leave! Some people did cringe when they saw me, but if they'd only given me what I'd asked for, it wouldn't have been necessary!

Desley (Cat fosterer) (booktigger) | 12593 comments Evening, lovely sunny day. Though wasn't impressed that one of the neighbours woke me up at 5.45 by putting their bin out. Was on a half day today, told colleague I'd go between 12.30 and 1, then something urgent came up at 12.25, and didn't want to leave her with that as well as the other stuff, as we hadn't cleared enough of one of the backlogs this morning (another situation where I did something that should have been simple, but I checked something and realised it wasn't, that took way longer to sort), so ended up finishing at 1.15. My original plan was to do housework, but it was about 20 degrees, so decided to enjoy the weather instead. Lucy wanted to sit in the open doorway while I was eating, I was just contemplating what to do next when she went up to bed, so I decided to walk to the candle shop, get some ice cream, eat it while looking at the canal and read my book. Spent a while in the candle shop having a chat, then when I was debating where to sit, saw Malachi and his owner, so went and had a chat with them, and ended up walking back home with them, went a longer way than usual, but didn't get to go and check for bargains, so did nip to Sainsbury's after saying bye to them. Then have chilled and read my book, put a foot mask one, which has really helped my foot actually (that or the elevation!), I do wonder if my bunion is worse, not sure I've noticed my big toe being far enough over to touch my third toe before. Got a date for my ultrasound, 3rd July, so not long and the closest hospital, much better than the last app.

Desley (Cat fosterer) (booktigger) | 12593 comments Evening, woke up about 5.30, was trying to get back to sleep when there was quite a few sirens about 5.45, so gave up at 6 and got up. Did a half hearted attempt at hoovering some of the upstairs when it was a reasonable hour, then rested my foot as it was my monthly day out with C, we'd already had to rethink plans due to my foot. We went for some food at a place at the lake we haven't eaten, my vegan burger was disappointing, first place I've been given a spicy bean burger for a long time (wasn't even sure they still made them!), and it was on a very crusty bread roll. We went for a walk along the front to see if we could see swans and cygnets and found them fairly quickly, the female pricked her head up at the sound of my food bag, so they got quite a bit of food. Geese and ducks also tried getting some, one of the geese got dunked by the male swan, then chased away, not seen a swan swim that fast before. We then went for an ice cream, and they were still there on the way back, so fed them a bit more, one of the cygnets kept sitting with one of it's feet in an odd position, but sure last years did that too. Got her to drop me off at co-op to get milk and check for bargains. Then came home, put my foot up and finished my book

Alicia Ehrhardt (aliciabutcherehrhardt) | 4834 comments Sounds like a lovely day, Desley: wildlife, walk, a bit of housekeeping, and a good book.

Desley (Cat fosterer) (booktigger) | 12593 comments Evening, had a craft fair at a new venue today, we pulled up outside and was contemplating where we were supposed to go when the woman in front of us took pity and told us where to park etc, though A thought were were on the ground floor and we were on the first floor, so ended up parking at the side of the ground floor door and had to carry the bags up the stairs, which wasn't great. Foot coped though. Got some nice home made lemon drizzle cake, the woman was struggling to work the card machine, when I got back up, A had just finished a sale for £22.50 - we've done entire fairs that haven't taken that much, and think it must be the best individual sale, though ironically they came back a bit later and bought another car air freshener! It was the debut for the car air fresheners, and we sold 7! We had 16, 8 scents and 2 of each, 3 sold out so she'll have to make more for next weekend, glad we persuaded her to charge more, not one person complained about the cost, and there was a soap stall on the ground floor who were doing the same size bottle for £2 more than we were selling, they either had enough to restock during the day, or they weren't selling, I did pop down a couple of times. The first couple of hours went well, was our second best one yet this year, but then it was dead after about 1.30 - we have asked to be told about more there though. Packed up early, so got home early enough to sit in the sun and read, though probably should have washed my clothes.

Yes, it was a good day Alicia

It's a nightmare for a lot of people. A friend of mine has just finished the process.

Desley (Cat fosterer) (booktigger) | 12593 comments Evening all, another lovely day, was actually quite warm in the office. Was annoyed with G last night, she rang at 9.36, which I didn't answer, then sent me a message saying she was walking past the top of my street, and wondered if I was up for a chat, rather late on any night, never mind when I have to get up for work the day after! Was a frustrating day at work, loads of urgent stuff, so we got through loads, but so much coming in that the numbers haven't gone down much - though on the plus side, got compliments from a couple of people I helped - one rang back and said 'sorry, spoke to a lovely lady earlier, but can't remember her name', so had to tell her it was me! Colleague was like 'see, told you you are amazing' and later on, gave her some information and she was like 'wow, your memory is amazing' - just don't ask me something personal like how old I am or what I had for my tea last night! I've got an interview on Thu, though it isn't for my role, we are still waiting for an update on that. Went to Boots at lunch, they said my medication is out of stock and manufacturer is saying not back in till end July! So she suggested I get the doc to write a new one, must ring them. Got a call from physio this pm too, annoyingly I got my dates mixed up, and said I couldn't do next Tue, so they offered me Wed, so have got physio at 9.10 and scan at 2, both at the same hospital, so will probably work in the office, as it's just up the road, otherwise I'm driving to and from it twice. Not sure the extra walking will be good for my foot though, and wish I'd had them on two consecutive days instead. Did some food shopping on the way back, though hadn't looked at my list and did forget a couple of things.

Desley (Cat fosterer) (booktigger) | 12593 comments Evening, a warm day, but not sunny. Still dealing with urgent stuff coming in, was really annoyed this afternoon, I've been chasing something since last Wed and today they changed their mind and no longer wanted it, so much wasted time that could have been spent doing other things. Foot hasn't been great today either, suspect partly the weather and partly that we had a meeting on the floor above, luckily going up a colleague wanted to use the lift, but coming back, everyone was walking to the stairs, after that it felt like my ankle was slightly giving way and seemed to have a slight limp. Got home to a letter from rheumatology, seems he's thinking synovitis/tenosynovitis for the cause of my ankle and appears my bloods came back (though letter does say returned 18th July!), one of my inflammatory markers was 8 in Dec and is now 17, so no wonder I'm struggling, but also depresses me slightly as I increased my old medication and numbers are still higher, might have to put up with itching and keep on 3 rather than alternating between 2 and 3.

message 726: by Alicia (new)

Alicia Ehrhardt (aliciabutcherehrhardt) | 4834 comments It's hard not being able to do the walking you like to do - and having it hurt. Hope they figure out how to fix it permanently for you.

Desley (Cat fosterer) (booktigger) | 12593 comments Evening, had a rubbish night sleep, woke up about 3am, and didn't get back to sleep till about 5.30 and the alarm went off at 6.30 - I did contemplate changing it for the 7am alarm, but couldn't be bothered messing! The morning went well at work, didn't clear much, but at least attempted to, can't help if people don't ring me back, plus a meeting that was actually quite helpful. Then something I've been trying to arrange since Mon ramped up just before lunch, got it all arranged, then about 3pm got told it was all change, so had to rearrange it all - I'd just spent a frustrating 10 mins on the phone to our temp engineer, as his e-mail kept deleting my meeting requests, took 5 attempts, and then I had to move it! And now we know he has issues with meetings, one of us (probably me!), will have to ring him every day to make sure he can see what he has to do, and then ring during the day if anything urgent gets added. At least it's only till Wed. Been a really warm day, and got a wash load done.

Hope you get your foot sorted out soon

Alicia Ehrhardt (aliciabutcherehrhardt) | 4834 comments I agree with Jim. They're lucky to have someone who cares and tracks things down.

Desley (Cat fosterer) (booktigger) | 12593 comments Evening, so I had a late start with having my interview, got there early and they allowed me to start early, the excel assessment went better than last time, I had one spreadsheet where I had to find errors, then one I had to manipulate to find averages and percentages, felt much better with those. Then it got to the 6 questions, I had 3 people interviewing me, one is my big manager, the other two I've never met. Found that really hard, big manager saw me struggle a couple of times and tried re-wording the scenarios around what I actually do. Then had a quick catch up with colleague who was in the office ready for her interview after lunch, had a quick chat with a friend from another team, struggled to find the car (had used the pay and display car park near the office to save my foot, and it was only £2 as I wasn't there that long), and nipped to Lidl on the way home (took it off my lunch break, wasn't that cheeky!). Got a call about 4.15 from big manager, she asked permission to ring me to give me the outcome of my interview, I wasn't successful, and didn't score high enough to be appointable, I was fine with not getting it, but did want to be appointable, as that means I could be offered a job within 6 months without having to be interviewed. She was very positive though, and said that there are going to be other positions in the next few months, but that I am safe till Sept, which is good. She's going to give me feedback next week and some coaching, as she said that I wasn't the person she knows in the interview. Also, the person in charge of the department they want to move us to wanted to meet me, she was just holding off telling me till this was over, so I have to e-mail her tomorrow to arrange something, so that sounds positive. Put it on our group chat, then remembered that this was supposed to be a temporary job, but I've been there a year next Thu, said it shows how great they all are that I don't want to leave and one of them replied with 'you know we love you too. you is amazing', which is the only thing that has made me cry today!

message 731: by Alicia (new)

Alicia Ehrhardt (aliciabutcherehrhardt) | 4834 comments Sorry the testing didn't show you at your best - these people know what you can do. Coaching sounds lovely.

Desley (Cat fosterer) (booktigger) | 12593 comments Evening, think summer might be over, been cool and had rain for part of the day. One of the other managers is now on hol and I knew she wanted to know how I did (she interviewed me last time), so sent her a message letting her know, got a lovely message back saying she's a great believer in things happening for a reason and to be proud of myself, which I was touched by. Another frustrating day at work, not much urgent stuff coming in, but more coming in than we could do, so even though we worked hard, it doesn't look much better. Had a full hour for lunch to try and use some flexi, then ended up working half an hour later, as things came in in the last 45 mins! Went to the shops after work, bumped into Malachi and his owner on the way back, he was so excited to see me, then when we got near their flat, he saw someone else he likes, was telling his owner about yesterday and she said that it's good I'm so positive about it. Been getting different pains in my foot today, I did have to sit awkwardly while working because of where Lucy was sleeping, which probably isn't helping.

Desley (Cat fosterer) (booktigger) | 12593 comments Evening, woke up about 5.30 feeling headachy, laid in bed for a bit longer, but gave up at 6.30. Did a half hearted attempt at front room and kitchen floors before going to the hairdresser at 12, had a fun appointment, I do enjoy going to the hairdresser. Went for milk on the way back, it started drizzling not long after I got home and has been on and off since then. Did a bit more half hearted housework, foot feels much better today, though other hip was randomly hurting this morning.

Desley (Cat fosterer) (booktigger) | 12593 comments Evening, had a craft fair at our favourite venue, but for a cat charities summer fair, so different set of stalls than the usual one (which is next Sun!), I did very well not to come home with too much, was a bit annoyed on the tombola, I'd won two prizes, but turns out some had been left in by accident, rather than finding me prizes, they let me pick two more tickets, of course they weren't winners! Did come home with some lovely carrot cake, and a new windowsill blanket for the girls, if they like it, the woman will make me some in whatever pattern I want, which is good, and she donates the proceeds, so better than buying them a new one from Amazon (and cheaper!). Car air fresheners sold well again, sold 6 this week, and one of the starter sets, so yet again, first sale was over £20, so we had made the table fee in the first five minutes. Took A's cousin's wife with us, as she was going for the first time with her craft stuff (she sews things), she didn't do as well, and one of her sales was A (she didn't want to take her money, but A knew she hadn't taken her stall fee, so insisted she paid for them). Went to co-op after, and bumped into vegan friend, so had a nice chat with her.

They (and you) do good work.

Desley (Cat fosterer) (booktigger) | 12593 comments Evening all, another frustrating day at work where urgent/tricky things dominated time so didn't get as far on my list as I wanted, and conscious there is limited time now till we are short staffed. On the positive side, I bumped into one of the managers who interviewed me this morning, she asked if I'd recovered, told me they were all rooting for me and said she is always happy to give me advice if I need it, which is nice given she's never met me before last Thu! Then just before lunch had my introduction to the team leader from the other department, it seemed more telling me the kind of work they do, and seeing if I want to stay an agency worker or looking for something permanent, so said I'd rather permanent. Got the job title they use to add to my automatic notifications, and she is going to let me know when she sends jobs to go live, which I also thought was nice, given she'd never met me before (though has heard positive things in meetings). Drizzly day, nipped into Sainsbury's after work and it was one of the days where there were loads of bargains, got stuff for tea, breakfast, lunch and some fruit for about £3.34 - one thing alone should have been £2.25 (and only because it was on offer, they are normally more expensive).

Well, this is just them letting stallholders have a stall, not sure if the table fee went to the charity or the venue, though I did take some cat food mine don't like for them.

Desley (Cat fosterer) (booktigger) | 12593 comments Evening, better weather day, but another stressful day at work, and had to be told to go home by manager! Don't think we are going to get figures down before colleagues go on holiday. On the plus side, a Stephen King book I want to read is 99p, so bought that, tried bubblegum syrup in latte this morning and it was very nice, will definitely have that again, and when I went for my drink at lunch, I took out my rewards card for a stamp and noticed I could get a free drink :-) I did say I feel bad just getting a free drink and not buying anything, but manager was like 'not my money'! Told them about my morning coffee, they were both disgusted, though manager was being all 'I'm trying really hard not to judge' then she showed me the new seasonal syrup that she isn't allowed to open yet - pistachio, have had pistachio latte and it was really good, so can't wait to try that. No bargains tonight.

Desley (Cat fosterer) (booktigger) | 12593 comments Evening, had physio this morning, which wasn't too bad to be fair, a lot of it was asking questions, she did say that my entire foot was tender. She gave me a few exercises mainly around my foot, as my back isn't as bad, she wants to focus on my foot first, and did suggest seeing if podiatry could see me (though can't quite remember why!) and she is seeing me again on 22nd, hopefully she'll have seen the scan results by then too . Then had scan this afternoon, the person initially started by saying she couldn't see much swelling, yet the physio could! She couldn't give me much info, as the rheumatologist has to interpret them, but she did say one of the tendons was thicker, and there was some fluid, but that seemed slightly over from my ankle. Managed to get in my usual spot on the way back, so only had to pay parking for the morning, though it has meant I've done 7.5k steps. Work was manic, made worse by missing a couple of hours, then our meeting went on longer than planned. So not managed to get numbers down by much, and this is our last day of being fully staffed till 22nd. No bargains either.

Alicia Ehrhardt (aliciabutcherehrhardt) | 4834 comments I don't know why they don't pay more attention to self-reported PAIN. It's not like they have any objective ways to measure it!

If you say it hurts, they should pursue it until they figure out why, and FIX it.

Hoping your elections reduce the stress.

The physio was a rheumatology one, so was actually quite good compared to previous physio's I've seen, I'd actually go back more than twice!

Desley (Cat fosterer) (booktigger) | 12593 comments Evening, we had blue skies this morning and the forecast was good, so I put a washload on, and it started raining 5 mins later, and has been raining on and off all day, so had to put it on the clothes maiden! Morning started well, then had a one to one, all very positive, apart from me complaining about extra work we shouldn't have to do. Not quite sure what happened this afternoon though, I ended the day with lots of half done things, I pretty much finished on time regardless as there was just too much to do. Tomorrow is last day before colleague goes on leave for 2 weeks, not sure how good a place we are in for that, having a meeting tomorrow afternoon. There were some reduced doughnuts in co-op, I decided to treat myself, would definitely pay full price for them, and I'm not a doughnut fan.

Jim | 21809 comments Yes our day threatened showers more than it delivered :-)

It is a bit worrying that you've got a bigger workload coming down the track towards you

Desley (Cat fosterer) (booktigger) | 12593 comments Evening, glad it's Friday, even if I'm not looking forward to the next two weeks. Still ended the day with half finished things, did end up having an hour meeting going through a few things. Went to coffee shop at lunch and had a pistachio white hot choc, it was lovely. Finished work a bit late, then nipped to retail park for cat litter, went into the little Asda too and they had such nice stuff I had to go back and get a basket. Then went to Morrisons for new flavoured tea, coffee sachets and cider, got some nice stuff from there too.

It is Jim, there is one day where out of the 4 of us, there is only me in work, really not looking forward to that. I also feel bad making manager do some of the work, I try and steer her to the things that I either can't do, or could do, but it would take a while for me to work out, and we might not have the time for that.

Alicia Ehrhardt (aliciabutcherehrhardt) | 4834 comments The manager knows you'll be handling a lot by yourself; plus managers should periodically handle the tasks they supervise to stay connected, shouldn't they?

Here the management fills in if there are problems getting worker bees - not common, but they do it - there's no one to pass the buck to.

That's sensible, even the manager should be happy with it because they're not being dumped with stuff, just given the stuff that they are needed for

Desley (Cat fosterer) (booktigger) | 12593 comments Yes, it might be good for her to do some tasks she rarely does, as she is preparing for the new department to take over, so it will remind her of things that need to be included in that. I know the manager who looks after us when our manager isn't in on a Mon likes us as we rarely bother her, we are good at just getting on with things (though some things can just wait till the Tue)

Jim | 21809 comments From a manager's point of view you're the perfect department :-)

Desley (Cat fosterer) (booktigger) | 12593 comments Evening, quiet day, tried to catch up on housework, but yet again, focused on something that wasn't on my list, then run out of energy to do what was on my list, did get the most important thing done though - buy books :-). However, it looks better than this morning. Did nip to the co-op with my recycling to get out of the house, got back just before it started raining, but luckily dried up by the time the washing was ready, so got it pegged out.

Yeah, and one of the good things is that we work well together and if you get fed up of the task allocated, it's OK to say so and ask to swap, or if you aren't up for a certain task, it's also OK to say so and you aren't forced to do things, I'm not really used to that.
