Tammie | 2024 comments ooops...I can probably read one quick Benita if you don't have time...I have to find a last minute author that starts with T...maybe I can knock this one out with that.

Kira (kiraa18) | 80 comments I read one last night apart from the one I used for myself, we could do that if it's allowed Tammie?

I don't think it said 'everyone had to read' so I think it could work...check with MKat to see...she's probably updating as we're typing.

MountainKat | 31598 comments Awesome - here is your next task! (You wouldn't have gotten it before now anyway...)

Task 4 - 15. Read a minimum of 600 pages in books with an audio edition.

You do not need to listen to the audio, but an audio edition must be available for you book to work for this task! Please include a link to the audio edition in your completion post. Remember to use the first edition Kindle page count.

message 60: by Tammie (new)

Tammie | 2024 comments I did clarify...we all do have to complete the task unless we use a pass...we all have 1 pass, but only one of us can use it per round...there are exceptions and it will say in the task if passes can't be used.

One Sentence Audio Critic | 928 comments As a team we read 600 pages, or is it...each team member reads a 600+ page book?

message 62: by Tammie (new)

Tammie | 2024 comments It's as a team...so pretty much a slam dunk even if we each read 150p we're good :)

Tammie | 2024 comments I'm going to put in for MKat to make our team name; It’s Raining Men and we've got Umbrellas!

Just a heads up as it'll change our thread name.

Tammie | 2024 comments Hopefully everyone's settling in to this new month of challenges!

I highlighted a few in yellow for decision. Should a decision that requires a team discussion, we'll refer to the SS first.
Because we're basically in 3 different zones of the world, it will be helpful to have this information...we may still need clarifications but at least we've all had a chance to give this some thought.

Everyone could use some updating if you have the time...Benita you didn't get to the because of your travels. Feel free to change your mind or add to this as often as you like...not set in stone.

Happy reading everyone!

I liked it. You could tell it was a debut book though...there were a few plot points that weren't really necessary or said another way, they really didn't support the overall story well. But I liked it. It didn't end like I thought it would :)

I wanted to correct one point here. Each teammate has one pass per round. It can be used on any task that allows it, tasks that don't will say so in the description.

This book does not qualify for this challenge, the minimum page count is 150.

Also since there is no audiobook listed on GR, without a link to either audible or Amazon, I would need a correction. This info is only for the future if something similar is needed.

Pretty good. It's tagged high for horror...but I wouldn't say horror at all. A romantic suspense.

I've now finished the trilogy...lots of sex in these books. The author 'goes on and on' a bit too much in portions of the book. The plot is good...this one ended a bit different than I expected.

Tammie | 2024 comments Popular subgenres I can think of

Contemporary romance
Historical romance
Paranormal romance
Romantic Suspense
Regency romance

For sub, I believe the word ‘romance’ needs to be listed with the genre as I’ve listed above

Please list here the ones that work for you or others if I’ve left off something obvious…
We can vote or one of us can choose the common sub that works for everyone.., just list your preference here…also list if you can do a second book as we need to read x6
