**Remember to use the first edition Kindle page count only! If your page count comes from a Kindle edition published on the initial publication date on the editions page, it will count. If your page count comes from a Kindle edition labeled '1st edition', it will count. If your page count comes from the earliest dated English language Kindle edition, it will count. I am looking for one of those three things when confirming your books! As long the page count you list is correct, I will accept any link to the book. Ebook page count will be acceptable if no Kindle page count available. The acceptability of other page counts will be made on an individual basis.**
Please note that a rating is now required in your completion posts! A small review is also welcome. 😊

Please select a team leader to help keep track of where your team is in any given task. And as necessary guide discussions for task decisions. Any teammate can report your completions though.
Remember, it is the team's responsibility to notify the host (me) if a teammate fails to complete the task in a timely manner or otherwise goes missing! I am not checking all the team threads regularly to notice and may only check when notified a task is complete.
PS - If you want to be known as anything other than Team 6, you are free to come up with a team name. 😉

I'm fine if someone else would like to be captain, but ok with taking the lead as well.
I've made a quick SS in the past that covers most of the tasks that require decisions so we've got agreement on a lot of the tasks should they come up. We'll likely get the draw for maybe 30% of these tasks before the end, but it's nice not to have to debate on what to read...especially on some of these that take some discussion.
Give me a few days...to get to that.

I am not much for being a leader so I am okay with you taking the lead on that front, Tammie!!
I read mostly anything and everything so choosing a task isn't much of an issue. I am okay with whatever the majority decides to go with. Excited for this challenge to begin!!
P.S. I'll mostly be going out on the 24th so won't read much but will definitely be able to catch up after that!

One thing I noticed…if we want a team name…using our team number is fine if we don’t want to hassle with it
This is a romance group so we could go with something that plays off the theme… Run Like There's a Hot Guy in Front of You and a Creepy One Behind
The last team I was on the name was…For the Love of Books

I like to participate but not lead so I'll be happy for you to captain us Tammie.
Like the name
Run Like There's a Hot Guy in Front of You and a Creepy One Behind

I'm busy today, but will think on this...hoping you all have a few ideas but I usually find something with Google if nothing else.

Running On Empty, Reading in the Sun
Fairy God-Runners
Hot Wheels, Reading Fast!
Checkered Past
Shake, Rattle & Read
Born to Run, Reading Free!
Reading and Running for Alejandro
It’s Raining Men and we've got Umbrellas!

I made a SS that has tabs for
1. Decisions
2. A complete list of possible tasks
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/...
My experience is that it's a waste of time for us as individuals to identify books for all these tasks...but this list gives you an idea of what 'could be' assigned to us.
There are a few that we can compile information ahead for...there's a decision tab for those...the idea is that if one of these tasks come up, we don't have to wait for decisions because we've already decided. This will be helpful for all of us as we represent 3 corners of the world with our team.
Posted here are 4 of the tasks I thought we could discuss ahead...I know a few of us are traveling and that's ok...we can work on this until we're finished or whenever. Just list your ideas...and we can go back and forth until we agree. Feel free to comment on whatever...there's no specific agenda here...
1. Each player reads a book by the same author, teams decide author - no pass for this task.
9. Each player reads a book in the same series, teams decide. No pass for this task.
55. Read 6 books set in the same country outside the US, teams decide country.
93. As a team, pick a Romance List from GR Listopia with less than 100 books on it, each teammate reads a book from that list. No pass for this task.

Let me know when you have a team name!

I made a SS that has tabs for

Tammie, I marked my choices on the spreadsheet but am flexible with whatever team decides!

First Task - All Teams!
Task 1 - 0. Each teammate reads a book tagged ‘family’ or ‘holiday’ - teams decide.

I usually only read Agatha Christie if I need it for a challenge, when I do I prefer Hercule Poirot to Miss Marple.
I like how Hastings keep coming to the wrong conclusions from what Poirot tells him.
