We can all pick different people if we want but it has to be a book one of them have read for this challenge so far ..think series rule works as well

I'm gonna ask about series rule because I found a series I want to start which will be easier than going through more of their books (they sure are competitive lol)
Linking the post so I don't have to find it again if series rule applies https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...

Don't Twunk with My Heart by Renae Kaye
200 pages
How it Fits: read by Wende
Read: 4 Nov
Rating: 4 stars
Review: It's been a long time since I've read a Renae Kaye, and I enjoyed that. I knew Joel Leslie's narration was going to drive me bonkers, he has the worst Australian accent lol.
Trio wrote: "the series rule does apply, right? or does it need to be the actual book they read?"Series rule applies! I asked in the q&a

Madison Square Murders by C.S. Poe
299 Pages
How it qualifies: Dee read book 3
Date Read: 11/6/2023
Rating: 4 Stars
Review: CS Poe writes really great characters and interesting mysteries. I think I like Doyle and Larkin even more than Snow and Winter and I did not expect that!
It was really good! I'm sad that I have so many books planned so I can't start the next one yet. If you like Snow&Winter you'll like it, but I actually think it's better
Here is your next task!Task 11 - 37. Read 6 books set in the US.

The Ghost and Charlie Muir by Felice Stevens
328 pages
How it Fits: set in New York State (Brooklyn)
Read: 8 Nov
Rating: 5 stars
Review: What an absolutely stunning story! I do love Felice Stevens' novels, but The Ghost and Charlie Muir is something truly special. I'm kicking myself for waiting so long to read it lol.
A perfectly crafted paranormal romance, Stevens weaves a poignant tale of past lovers / friends to lovers all engineered by a crafty, cranky ghost. Plus the familiar themes of first time, coming out, and hurt/comfort which the author does so flawlessly.
The Ghost and Charlie Muir is beautifully performed by Kale Williams.
my Speedy team is up for the win in Bingo, so I've got to read that book first and it's not long enough to work for this challenge unfortunately, but I put my selection post there for you to link Janeylou :)
I read Out of the Blues a few months ago Janeylou and I really loved it, I gave it 5 stars. I hope you enjoy it!
Would you believe that none of my upcoming books (besides the London ones) say where they take place! I might "need" to read the next two Poe books
Trio wrote: "I read Out of the Blues a few months ago Janeylou and I really loved it, I gave it 5 stars. I hope you enjoy it!"I read it years ago Trio ( 7, judlst checked ) and lived it so hoping for an enjoyable re read .

Subway Slayings by C.S. Poe
274 Pages
How it qualifies: MPG Setting New York
Date Read: 11/7/2023
Rating: 4 Stars
Review: Larkin is just such an amazing character. The mystery wrap up got a little convoluted for me, but I still overall enjoyed this one
Book 2
Broadway Butchery by C.S. Poe
311 Pages
How it qualifies: "The Cold Case Squad of the NYPD..." and "Routine construction at a Broadway souvenir" in precis
Date Read: 11/9
Rating; 4 Stars
Review: Wait, no I thought this was the ending, I don't want to wait for more! I love Larkin and Doyle each opening up to one another and just being so sweet. The mystery was better done this time. And Noah still sucks.
Completion Post Task 11 - 37. Read 6 books set in the US.Feeding the Soul by Annabella Michaels

I only stumbled across this book/series because of our Halloween Roundup Challenge. I'm in the middle now and am really enjoying it so far. 😊👍🏻

Janeylou wrote: "Im hopining to finish 2nd book tonight"I did read another book set in the US, but it isn't a romance so I don't think it would work for this challenge - also, I know how fast you read Janeylou so this probably woudn't be too much of a hardship for you 🤣🤣.

I've noticed that too Janeylou - I've won in the past and been gifted a book. And I usually offer to be the gifter for a winner too. She doesn't always ask though, so I don't think she does it every time.
This year though, she did ask for donations - and she posted in our Speedy thread to PM her with our wish lish link and email address...
I think it's really nice to have a gift for the winners.
