You haven't said which challenge this is relating to!"
Ouch! I feel so silly now!
It's for 5.5 but I will repost.

I'll let this one go, but in future please link to the edition you read - if it doesn't exist on GR, please post in the librarian thread to ask for it to be added

Thanks! I appreciate that, but now I wonder if I have misunderstood for the last 2 years! I thought that on an audiobook or ebook we had to link a mmpb if available, otherwise pb, and if none of those, hardcover - in order to show that the book was of legitimate length. Even if there is no page count requirement for a task, we need to be able to verify the 100-page minimum. Maybe the rule has changed?
From Rules of the Challenge Fall 2022, Msg 2 #7
https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...
If you read an ebook, or audiobook use the page count for the mass market paperback if one exists. If there is no mass market paperback edition, use the paperback edition and if no paperback is available use the hardcover edition.

Sorry, I missed that one (still learning this mod role!) corrected now my end & will be updated in the next update shortly!

We're double checking this - trying to see if there was precedent set by DLMRose and Sandy that we can refer back to. I promise you've not been forgotten about!

i.e. unless I need the mmpb to prove BB tix or page number task, I made the mods do a bit more work to check length.
Shall await with interest a final ruling :D

That was my understanding, too. Although I always link to the cover of the kindle edition for a cover task, if that's the one I read.
This has been interesting as I have always interpreted the rules as being that you link the actual version you read (hence the audiobook) and if you needed it specifically for a page count task (eg page count includes 123) then you'd also link to the mmpb/pb.
For Fall 2023 we will accept either the audiobook linked or the mmpb/pb linked with a note that you listened to the audio & will continue to discuss and come up with a final decision for the next season.

Don't laugh, but once I posted it and saw others posts, I totally was like OMG I am so stupid lol.

Yep, typo! Thanks! :)

To ppost a completed book you need to go to this thread https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...
Have a look at how others post and copy a format that works for you.
I usually write my posting name
e.g. MAZZA1
then the task number and title
e.g. 5.1 for the horde
then the book i have read - you have to use the link at the top of this box "add book author" to add your link
then you just need to add the points for the current post and the total number of points for the challenge

To add to the above, the very first step is to get yourself a Readerboard name over in this thread: Readerboard names
Once you've done that, then you can go ahead and start claiming tasks you've finished as Marie described above :)

Task 30.4 option 2 the task wording specifically excludes the word "state"
You may not use the words state, city, beach or surf park - just the names of the beaches. You also can’t use things on the list that are not names of beaches like “access to tidepools” or “fishing pier”.
Required: State the name of the beach.

If you post in the Librarian Thread somebody will be able to help - if you can give them a link to the paperback on Amazon or a publishers website that really helps them!

Please just double check that you claimed the correct task here - I have put at against 20.1 but you seem to also be referencing a list that is not part of this task!

I think you have misunderstood option 2 - it's a book by an author that RedSycamore has rated 5 stars not one you have rated 5 star. The list of permitted authors are at: Comment 2 in the Help Thread. Unfortunately Christine Feehan does not appear on this list

Just a heads up that the IAF ticket I claimed in post #494 was not tallied on the readerboard. Thanks!

I think you have misunderstood the task - you need to select either option 1, option 2 or option 3 & do both books from that option, you cannot do one book from option 1 & one book form option 3

I completely did - for some reason, I'd thought only Option 2 needed you to read both books from it. Sorry.
It's been a while since I made the naughty list. Although at least I've figured out how to change the books around.

For book 2, the task clearly states that All the letters must be within one specific word of 5 or more letters
Unfortunately your 5 letters are across multiple words
