Wow, you all are golden!

I'm started with A Folly of Youth by Amy D'Orazio, but I think this will be a multi-read challenge. :)

message 281: by Katja (new)

Katja | 439 comments I think I am going to go with Portraits of Pemberley

Already read Storm and Longbourn's distinguished guest.

message 282: by abmom (new)

abmom | 152 comments I'm going to choose as I go and will post at the end of the month on my progress.

message 283: by MichelleH (new)

MichelleH H | 130 comments I'm going with Melanie Rachel's An Accidental Scandal, and Mr. Darcy, Downstairs by Valerie Lennox. And then I may come back to the list and choose some to reread since it's been quite a while since I've read some of them.

message 284: by Kirk (new)

Kirk (goodreadscomkirkc) | 396 comments Selected and just read The Adventures of Miss Olivia Wickham. The Adventures of Miss Olivia Wickham A short story sequel to Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen by Kay Bea

I think I will, too, Sophia. It’s been fun seeing all the links.

Yes, we have some great choices here, Anne. :)

Craftyhj | 441 comments First one finished,
An Accidental Scandal: A Pride and Prejudice Novella by Melanie Rachel

Very good as expected from this author - a solid 4*.

message 289: by MichelleH (new)

MichelleH H | 130 comments I've read both of my picks from the lists. Melanie Rachel's An Accidental Scandal, and Valerie Lennox's Mr. Darcy: Downstairs. Both really good in completely different ways. I'm on the fence about rereads like I had originally thought I might do. My wish lists of new books released in the past few months I want to get to is calling me. Not to mention older titles in my TBR.

You've done great. And, I say go with the direction your reading mood is taking you. :)

Craftyhj | 441 comments Second one completed - Miss Gardiner: A Variation on Pride and Prejudice by Martin Hunnicutt

This was a reread for me as I read it when it first came out. I have to confess it didn't stand up as well as I hoped but I would recommend it for a single read although I don't think I shall be going back to it again.

message 294: by Craftyhj (new)

Craftyhj | 441 comments well done Sam - I have never read Thursday's Child. I know the story line may leave some readers uncertain but I think perhaps I will give it a go. It has one of the loveliest covers in the genre!

message 295: by Sam (new)

Sam H. | 828 comments Yes and it really portrays Elizabeth's emotions.

Reading this one you need to suspend reality a tad due to the premise, but it is well written and a nice story.

message 296: by Anne (new)

Anne | 196 comments I forgot to update- I read Her Summer at Pemberley about Kitty. It was good but here you needed to suspend disbelief because of the Royal subplot.

message 297: by Craftyhj (new)

Craftyhj | 441 comments Three more for me,
Drive and Determination by Kara Louise 4.5*
Love Letters from Mr. Darcy: A Pride and Prejudice Novella by J. Dawn King 4*
A Covenant of Marriage by C.P. Odom 4.5*

I have another one part read but I think it will take a couple more days to finish (especially if I keep getting distracted by other books!)

You're doing great with this month's challenge! Drive and Determination is an oldie, but a goodie. :)

message 299: by Katja (new)

Katja | 439 comments I have lost track of which of my July readings were from this thread but I think at least a couple of Joana Starnes and Abigail Reynolds books were mentioned.
