Team Ruby we have 6 hours and 35 minutes left!We have done great! We are almost finished with our 4th spell out of Baby Powder. We currently have 445 points for week two but a total of 1140 points.
I have checked all bookshelves and the spreadsheets! It's all updated. (Sending PM to Mollie)
We are close to our finishing our 4th spell out. Just need 'A', 'E', and 'Y' letter books. I'm currently working on an 'A' letter. I will finish it soon. Then grab either an 'E' or 'Y' book. Then I'm finished with my quota for the week.
Great job everyone! Go Ruby! Have a great weekend. :)
Michelle, got your PM and did some switching around. I just finished my book. Dourado and put it in the spreadsheet. :) We are doing awesome. I will get in my last book, should be done in 2.5 hours.

Great Michelle! I will add it! I will work on the E book and we might be done with our spell out. Just waiting to hear back from Mollie. Great job everyone!
Did we finish the fourth round? I could zip through the last chapter of my book in five minutes if necessary. It will only work for D or E though. We could switch the E character to B for her nickname.
I finished my book Lost And Found. We have one more hour! I forgot about the time change. So, that gives us another little bit. Just need one more book to finish our spell out (in case Mollie doesn't get my messages). A 'B' Book. I will not be able to finish a book in a hour.
Allison Ann wrote: "Did we finish the fourth round? I could zip through the last chapter of my book in five minutes if necessary. It will only work for D or E though. Okay, I only have the epilogue so I'll read that right now. The Devil in the White City: Murder, Magic, and Madness at the Fair that Changed America by Erik Larson, if you put it for E and put Michelle's book to B for "Beth", we'll have four rounds of colour.

Week 3 starts up in 40 minutes! Licorice is the word.
Currently I'm reading The First Fifteen Lives of Harry August. My DQs are due today/tonight. That will give us some good points right off the bat. :)
I'm sorry. I thought I had put the book on my bookshelf but I didn't double check as i was just popping in. it's there now
I asked the mods to see if we can count the book. We might not be able to which is fine. I will report back with what their answer is.
Allison Ann wrote: "I'm reading

Mollie wrote: "I'm sorry. I thought I had put the book on my bookshelf but I didn't double check as i was just popping in. it's there now "Karen said it's good so I'll add it. :)
Oh that's fantastic. thanks for checking with Karen. again I'm sorry. I'll be more vigilant going forward. if I can find a book that works this week. I'm coming up dry. might have to run to the library when we get back tomorrow.
The thing that saved us is you had it marked at 'read' it just wasn't in the bookshelf. I know what you mean. I've been trying to keep a system going for a smooth transition from one week to another. It's nice to have everyone speak up when they see something not matching up. :) good luck on your mission of book. Licorice is a tricky one for me. The double C and I makes it tricky.

Great, I should be done tonight. This is a harder week for letters. The books I have on hand only seem to work for one or two choices so we may have to plan a bit more. Or I could just go to the library and roam around the I sections. :D

I'm hoping to finish Perfume: The Story of a Murderer for the 'L' letter tonight. Then I'll work on my ' I ' letter book. I will re-read I Am Legend and Other Stories for a different GR groups BotM.
I love the book. One of my all time favorites. I haven't read it for a few years now. The best movie that follows the book really well is the old black and white Vincent Price movie called Last Man on Earth. They did a good job on it and it really follows it well. Yes, it's a book that really is different from what is expected. Love it!

Alright Allison Ann! We now have 155 points and our first spell out of licorice done. Woohoo!Awesome team work everyone! We are rocking this licorice word. :P
Sorry ladies. I said I'd finish my other "I" book tonight but I might not. I was invited just now to a board game night. I am going off the grid to play some games. I will not stay out too late. I have to be to work at 7am tomorrow.
Have a good night everyone. :)
Have fun Rachel. I wish I could find more people to play board games with me. At least my family loves them so we massacred the younger generation in Apples to Apples last night after Easter dinner. :DIf you ever play Pandemic I might have to fly out to join you. ;)
Have fun Rachel. Is anyone playing games on Sat? It is International TableTop Day according to Wil Weaton
I'm having some friends over to play. And Allison, Pandemic could make it to the table. Have you tried the dice version yet?

We are gaming on Saturday, but we try to fit that in most Saturdays so it's not necessarily because of the day. We are just starting a new campaign.
Just finished The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time by Mark Haddon.
Not many options, but I needed it for another challenge.

It's a gaming team. :) Is it International Tabletop Day again already? Where does the time go? I'm catering the Library Open House this weekend, so no gaming for me. Diane ~Firefly~ wrote: "I'm having some friends over to play. And Allison, Pandemic could make it to the table. Have you tried the dice version yet? "
Haven't tried the dice version yet Diane. If I don't let myself spend money on books then a new game that I can't find anyone to play with me is definitely on the "wasteful" side of spending. :)
I'm taking a real day off today. Going for a long walk, making soup with the turkey leftovers, doing laundry, cleaning house, finishing my book. It's been awhile. Have a great day Rubies.
