Today is the Day!

Today feels like the start of a new era. THE ROAD TO ENCHANTMENT hits shelves, AND I'm moving into a house I just bought-- a little 1919 Craftsman situated across the street from an apple orchard. I've got some romantic notions about looking out my window and enjoying blossoms in the spring and autumn leaves in the autumn... just observing the seasons, but I think I'm in for surprises, like bei... Kaya McLaren, How I Came to Sparkle Again

“When someone you love dies, it's normal to lose your faith. I don't want you to lose yours. I want you to believe that there is a bigger force than you in this world, a loving and compassionate force. I want you to believe that your life has meaning and your existence has purpose. And when life is hard, I want you to believe that you'll be given strength to endure it, and that it will get better. I want you to have the peace in your heart you can only have when you believe there is a reason for everything, even if you cannot see it.”

Karen Kaya, It sounds like we would like the same books except that I've destroyed any I ever tried to read in the bath! Unfortunately I haven't had time to read any this winter but at the top of my list is Divinity... which just came a couple days ago. Also would like to read the Wickwire book you're currently reading, he's from Ephrata you know and his littlest brother was my childhood sweetheart. We're leaving for Tahiti in a few days had always intended to read Mutiny on the bounty before we left....oh well.
Thanks for the reviews and I'll try to give you some in time.........Karen
