Re your sci-fi coincidence.., That happens to me a lot too. On my first board I kept landing on nonfiction books.

Looking at the last three books you've finished that were published since the turn of the century. Take the oldest one, calculate its age, and move forward that many spaces (to be used anytime, but calculated now).

My last 2 rolls were 1-3 which meansYou get to take pick someone's next move on the board. The admins will use random.org to decide who will be moved. You get to decide which book they must move to next on their game board - - backward or forward -- within a 15 book radius.
No matter who it is, I will move you forward! I am usually very competitive but with this group I just want everyone to win.

Safe travels Robin, enjoy your time with an old friend! I know that it will be like you saw her yesterday (recently I had lunch with two co-workers that I worked with the last half of my career, and indeed, it was like we just came back from a vacation and melted back into each other).

I am ready for my next roll! (1)Anita, just a heads up that this roll will take me off the end of the Board for Conductor Loop 2. I plan to post my next Board today.
I just wanted to say that if I were the clerk level, I would be requesting a roll. But I am not, new rules. But I’m excited that I’m finally advancing in my next subdue book.

It's been so long since I could ask for a roll .... though I'm nearly there. Just one more book to read from the last time I was moved ... unless of course 🐙Ursula🐙targets me to be moved again. I watch the roll requests longingly... Though I'm having one wonderful read after another.
Finally have hit my summer plan. At the pool for the first time. Although I admit, I did not swim any laps yet. But I’m almost done with my subdue book. I am indeed the wondering if maybe I earned some kind of a special roll. With a porter dice between one at a time it’s easy to lose track. I’m going to check on the thread for the rules.
Turns out there is no special advantage for a 2–2. But if I were to get a third two, that would put me on the special train. I mean the advantage special train. So I finish the book, and will post my review tonight, and if Ursula and the dice are lucky, a third two would be welcome please!

In your tracking post, you can create one line that lists all your rolls since starting your new board. It’s really helpful that Anita copies over the list of special rolls at the beginning of each month’s request thread.

I know! I should have said nothing. I just know I'm going to get shaken up or moved back or something..... Hey, I am impressed with myself that I made it this far. I am not even convinced I will finish the porter loop by the end of the year!

Joy, I think that's you :(. I think you rolled off your board, so I think it's back to 98 in terms of spaces (100, 99, 98), since you aren't really on a space right now. You may need to read something further back if you already read that one?

@ Anita and JoAnne - you can remove me from 97 on the Clerk Master Board. Ursula doesn't need any ideas; she does fine on her own. I posted that review and updated my tracking some days ago.You do have me now on my correct Porter spot.

Heather will move 13 spaces ahead to If on a Winter's Night a Traveler. I wanted to pick one I had actually read. It’s an unusual book, very “meta”, as are many books by this author.

I was definitely on a withdrawal yesterday! at least about 12 hours, I reckon. It was down by the time I was up in the morning (about 7ish?) and according to twitter has been down for some hours already. Then started to be intermittently available around 5pm-ish. On the other hand, I was so productive with everything else...
