#409 Since there are followers on the LJ profile, you will want to send these to Support so they can merge the authors together. Librarians don't have that ability with a claimed profile.

I have noticed that there are over 15 books that have been mistakenly assigned to another author with a similar name. These books have been rated and liked on my profile, but they should actually be removed from the other author's profile and assigned to mine. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

We need more information, for example the author's name, and which books do or do not belong.
Please provide links.

#413 #414 I moved these to a new profile that you can claim. It will take a day or so for the book pages to catch up.
Signing up for Goodreads does not automatically give you an author profile. Here's the new profile:
https://www.goodreads.com/author/show...
You can claim it by scrolling down to the very bottom of the page and click where it says "Is this you? Let us know."
You will have multiple spaces in your author profile name. Do not delete them as that is what differentiates the authors with your name.

If that were the case then my books would not be included in the long list. It seems more like they included two or three or more authors' books together because my name is common perhaps.

Emily | 17455 comments They gave you the default profile by mistake. A book by anyone with your name will land there. If you told them which books were yours when you claimed the profile they didn’t pay attention. It is much easier for them to move your books off of it and assign you a new one.They should have it sorted soon.
