Aisling waited, then whimpered, trying to break free. But she was alone. Oh, so alone. She was terrified, and at that moment, all she wanted was her mother, her mother holding her like she was a little baby and her daddy. So many times she'd seen mothers and fathers with children her age, children they'd loved, but she'd never been loved... only loathed. In that realization, and with the sudden hope that Olivia might care about her, she staggered through the portal and into Olivia's arms, yowling in emotional pain, just before it closed.
Olivia had noticed that she was not following and just waited. Once she saw the small wolf stagger in and practically run into her arms whining. She picked her up. "Don't worry, I'll be here to care for you and love you little one." She comfortef
Aisling sobbed puppy tears into Olivia's shoulder, wrapping her paws about the girl. She could figure out a way to tell her she wasn't a dog later.
Aisling cuddled and went silent, letting the girl stroke her back. She closed her eyes, as if to sleep.
Olivia happily pet her and then cuddled her. She then went to her room and set up a little bed for her, after letting her lay on her bed.
Aisling cuddled on the bed, then, quietly, scratched her name onto the footboard, and then she scratched 'is', before she was very very worried that Olivia might be watching and would punish her, and wouldn't her master not love her if she scratched the bed? The pet-master bonding twisted her mind and she felt like crying in frustration, because of the keen guilt that came from doing anything that would make Olivia unhappy. She crawled under the bed.
Olivia finished setting Aisling's new bed up when she turned to find that her pet wasn't on the bed, but under it. "What are you doing under there?" She asked a tad amused.
Unfortunately it wasn't exactly understandable, and Olivia took it a completely different way. "Oh, you found some scratches on my bed? Don't worry about it, I'll deal with it. But now, what do you think of your new bed?"
She wasn't really happy with the little bed. She wasn't a dog. She'd probably end up sharing with Olivia, when she could. So, she curled up on one of Olivia's pillows.
Jordan went into Olivia's room and saw the little wolf "Olivia, have you got a new pet?" He asked
The wolf jumped up as Jordan entered and she flew back, shocked, to the other side of the room, down on her haunches, growling. This man was scary!!
She jumped a bit but turned to see her father. "Oh Hi Daddy!" She greeted him. "Yes, This is my pet Aisling. I found her near the town, and she's so cute so I decided to bring her home as my pet. Is that okay?" She asked. "Please?" She begged.
"Isn't she cute?" She asked, but then also remembered her reason for going down there in the first place, she pulled the money out. "Here Daddy, the money from the sale of that statue."
Aisling cowered under his glare and whined, looking from him to Olivia. This guy might kick her, if he wanted. Except he was in a wheelchair. The scared little girl needed to use the bathroom, too!
Jordan smiled "Yeah she's cute, and thank you, keep it for yourself" He said he looked at the dog again, something was off about it
Olivia jumped with joy at being able to keep her new pet. She quickly went over and hugged Aisling in a soft and loving way. "Welcome to your new home! I'll make sure that you are taken care of properly and loved." She said with a smile after putting the money away.
Gotta pee. Gotta pee. Gotta pee. She zipped out of the room as fast as possible, the urge far more powerful than her connection to Olivia. The hug was nice, but it only aggravated her... condition. The child yipped and whined, writhing as she tried to sniff out a bathroom... There! But the door was closed!
(Sorry, long day and I started to doze on the ride home.)
Olivia headed outside and took her pet for a walk, thinking that was what she wanted.

((Sokay! :D))The pet refused to obey! She dove into the bathroom and kicked up the seat, squatting over the bowl and doing her business, too worried to bother about closing the door.
Jordan frowned "I got some work to do, make sure she's well cared for" Jordan told Olivia ((Time skip soon?))
"Wow, she really really likes to be pampered..." Olivia mentioned.
(Sure, want to have that a few days past and Olivia has mostly convinced Aisling that being her pet was a good and that she was loved but also that Olivia loved magic and statues some. Mainly I'm thinking Olivia is testing a new spell she used on a flashlight that when it's shined on a living thing, it will turn that thing into marble. I want to have her test it on Aisling and a couple servants then restore them. Sound okay?)

((Sounds good! And then Aisling will be panicked enough to shift back into a human, and have emotions.))
A week later, Aisling was very used to how things worked. She could use the toilet, but she relaxed against her little prison bed, the doggy bed, and cuddled with the fox and her little bouncy ball.
Aisling licked her owner's hand and lifted her head cheerily. She was always happier when Olivia was in the room. But she knew that was because of the magic, and even in happiness, there was a little pang of sadness. However, her owner was sweet enough, she supposed.
