(Well, for now until she starts to like being a pet? Also, mind if she names her with her actual name? [not knowing that's her real name]?)

Olivia turned to she why she growled, but the pup just seemed to be pawing at the ground, she just looked confused and picked her up and pet her some. "Your so cute, I bet you'll be a very good pet."

Ilsa (eruaistaniel) | 1584 comments ((Yeah, and maybe she thinks the writing looks kinda like Aisling and chooses a similar name, for the sake of realisticism?))

Aisling barked in frustration as she was torn from her efforts and kicked, squirming. She yipped.

Olivia saw the writing which to her looked like some scrambled letters, but it gave her an idea for a name, "What do you think of Aisling?" she asked the pup.

message 605: by Ilsa (new)

Ilsa (eruaistaniel) | 1584 comments Aisling barked and yipped in pleasure, because she'd somehow managed to convey her meaning.

Megamanlan | 1798 comments Mod
She smiled at the pup. "Aisling it is! But now I should get a little leash for you..." She went into a pet stop in the town and got the supplies she needed, and soon was heading back to the portal. "Come on Aisling, its time to go to your new home."

message 607: by Ilsa (new)

Ilsa (eruaistaniel) | 1584 comments Aisling whined and kept as far away from Olivia as possible. Ropes and collars? No way. Dog kibble? Ew. She had to get away!

"What's wrong Aisling?" She asked, wondering what was up with her pet.

message 609: by Megamanlan (new)

Megamanlan | 1798 comments Mod
(So how long do you want Aisling to be stuck as a pet? [i was thinking perhaps a few weeks, which would get her "accustomed" to the pet life and then Olivia'd find that she's actually a human girl that can shapeshift.)

message 610: by Ilsa (new)

Ilsa (eruaistaniel) | 1584 comments ((I thought a few days, until Aisling manages to break free a little bit, because she's not fully a dog, and shapeshift into a cat or a bird in front of Olivia, to try to give her a hint.

message 611: by Megamanlan (new)

Megamanlan | 1798 comments Mod
(But still kinda start to like being a pet but also wants her freedom back some?
Although, changing into a human is what would surprise Olivia the most, as she'd think another animal was just a shapeshifting spell.)

message 612: by Ilsa (new)

Ilsa (eruaistaniel) | 1584 comments ((Well, being a pet entitles being an animal, so she'll find shifting to a human far harder under the spell. Thus, she'll try anything to get the spell removed. She likes being a pet, but hates it at the same time. It's not in her nature to be confined.))

message 613: by Megamanlan (new)

Megamanlan | 1798 comments Mod
(Not exactly, but usually.
But the main thing I'm thinking is that she'll have time to actually like Olivia and be more understanding why she petrified her before that's revealed.)

Ilsa (eruaistaniel) | 1584 comments ((Okay, sounds good.))

Aisling barked and chewed on the bag with the stuff in it. No way! Nopenopenope!

"You don't want a leash?" She asked, trying to figure it out.

message 618: by Ilsa (new)

Ilsa (eruaistaniel) | 1584 comments Aisling stopped and nodded slowly, trying to convey that she had human intelligence.

But this to Olivia just looked like she was just being silly, "understanding pets is so confusing..."

message 620: by Ilsa (new)

Ilsa (eruaistaniel) | 1584 comments Aisling barked and yipped, whining in frustration as she threw her tiny puppy body to the ground. This girl was confusing! Who could understand her?

message 621: by Megamanlan (new)

Megamanlan | 1798 comments Mod
She was now more confused. "Okay, just bark if you don't want something." She pulled a leash out of the bag.

message 622: by Ilsa (new)

Ilsa (eruaistaniel) | 1584 comments She barked a lot. She even snarled and bit at the leash, shaking it in her mouth.

message 623: by Megamanlan (new)

Megamanlan | 1798 comments Mod
"Okay, what about this?" She pulled one of the toys she got in the store out of the bag.

message 624: by Ilsa (new)

Ilsa (eruaistaniel) | 1584 comments She frowned, unsure about that one. She might get bored with this lady, who would probably lock her in a kennel, and she might want something to play with. Her tail wagged a little and she stayed silent.

Megamanlan | 1798 comments Mod
"Okay, so how about this?" She pulled a bone treat out from her pocket.

message 626: by Ilsa (new)

Ilsa (eruaistaniel) | 1584 comments Ew ew ew! She barked and backed up.

message 627: by Megamanlan (new)

Megamanlan | 1798 comments Mod
(I'm guessing she doesn't like bones?)

"Okay, let's try this," she pulled another dog toy out that she thought she heard the puppy whining for.
(You can choose what toy it is, because I'm still trying to think of ideas for more toys.)

message 628: by Ilsa (new)

Ilsa (eruaistaniel) | 1584 comments ((Nope!))

It was a rag doll chew toy, but it was cute and fluffy and a soft little fox animal. The puppy dove at it to hug it and hold it, because it was just so adorable!

"It seems you like that one." She mentioned. She pulled a meat-filled treat from the bag. "What about this?"

message 631: by Ilsa (new)

Ilsa (eruaistaniel) | 1584 comments She sniffed it, then gave it a lick. Ew! Little girls did not like dog food, not even dog treats. She pulled a face and barked.

message 632: by Megamanlan (new)

Megamanlan | 1798 comments Mod
"Okay, so what about these?" She pulled out some snacks that animals and dogs can eat, mainly including meats like bacon and other things that were tasty.

message 633: by Ilsa (new)

Ilsa (eruaistaniel) | 1584 comments She smelled them, and looked like she was gonna gag. But, deciding that she wouldn't be fed anything other than gross stuff, she figured it was the lesser of two evils. She whined unhappily and curled up on the ground.

Megamanlan | 1798 comments Mod
(Is she a vegetarian?)

message 635: by Ilsa (new)

Ilsa (eruaistaniel) | 1584 comments ((No, but she's a kid. She mainly steals 'good' food, like waffles or hamburgers or things that people eat, not dog jerky or the bacon dog strips.))

message 636: by Megamanlan (new)

Megamanlan | 1798 comments Mod
(Maybe she'll see some human food and whine for it then?)

message 637: by Ilsa (new)

Alisha pointed her nose at a taco stand, but she still couldn't leave the designated ring of containment.

message 638: by Megamanlan (new)

Megamanlan | 1798 comments Mod
"Huh?" She noticed that her pet was looking towards a taco stand. "Oh, you want human food?"

message 639: by Ilsa (new)

Ilsa (eruaistaniel) | 1584 comments She wagged her tail and yipped. That adjective was the most important part of that sentence.

message 640: by Megamanlan (new)

"Some pup likes to be pampered does she?" She pet the young wolf, not knowing it was really a young girl.

message 641: by Ilsa (new)

Ilsa (eruaistaniel) | 1584 comments She walked closer and closer to the tacos, trying to get enough space to write human in the dirt, without being pulled away.

message 642: by Megamanlan (new)

Megamanlan | 1798 comments Mod
But before she could attempt to write it, Olivia picked her up. "Don't worry, I'll take very good care of you." She smiled and pet her in her hands.

message 643: by Ilsa (new)

Ilsa (eruaistaniel) | 1584 comments She whined again, going limp in exasperation.

message 644: by Megamanlan (new)

Megamanlan | 1798 comments Mod
Olivia smiled at her and rubbed her stomach some.

message 645: by Ilsa (new)

Ilsa (eruaistaniel) | 1584 comments That tickled! She kicked. Nooooooo!

message 646: by Megamanlan (new)

Megamanlan | 1798 comments Mod
(I think part of her likes that though, right?)

Olivia thought that she liked it. "You like that don't you?" She continued to do so.

message 647: by Ilsa (new)

She whined and kept going and going. It was fantastic!

Olivia could tell that she enjoyed it, but it was almost time to head home or her father would wonder where she is. So she stopped rubbing and put her down as the portal opened again. "Come on, I'll show you your new home."

Ilsa (eruaistaniel) | 1584 comments The puppy stayed back. Maybe the connection would sever when the lady went through the portal!" She inched back, as far as possible.
