SOLVED. YA fairy tale retelling series - read in 2011-2013 - for sure it had a cinderella and snow white retelling, but I think there were more than 2 books - title was only one word and cover was mostly black with a picture on the front. [s]

Okay I've looked at tons of lists, but I clicked on one you linked, and I found it! The book is called Once: Before Midnight / Golden / Wild Orchid by Cameron Dokey and it contains 3 retellings of Cinderella, Rapunzel, and Mulan. There's a second book called Kissed with Beauty and the Beast, the Magic Flute, and The Snow Queen
