Mixed feelings on this. Argus and Vulcan were wonderful. How come so few fictional characters have dogs? Some of the spice was good. But the characters felt sort of inconsistent at times. And Virgil's "hobby" was not fleshed out at all and felt like a ridiculous add-on.

Book Tank's Treasure (Hunters Creek Archangel's Warriors MC Book 9) by Ciara St James by Ciara St James
Read 4.26
Pages 322
Review 4 Stars
VP of the Hunters Creek Archangels Warriors MC, Tank has seen several of the members fall for their women. Tank is wondering if he will ever find that for himself and is surprised when he meets Brynlee. She is everything he would want in a woman, realizing she is a single mom he decides to bide his time asking her out so she will say yes. When Brynlee is put in the hospital though Tank steps up, he knows she is his future now he needs to prove to her that he is worth the shot. What happens though when her past comes back and is determined to make things difficult.

Another great one in this series. I liked this couple quite a bit, one thing is they discussed a lot of their past and were honest about it, even if uncomfortable. Tank is all in and I am glad he found his one.

I really enjoyed this book. A different twist on a romance novel. It kept me interested throughout the book and very easy to follow storyline.

The whole town knew what happened to Andie Bell, she disappeared and her boyfriend Sal Singh did it. His guilt was proven when he killed himself. High school senior Pip Fitz-Amobi has a capstone project for school and she has decided to reexamine the case of Andie Bell and Sal Singh. She knows it is going to rub some people the wrong way but something never sat right with her about the case and she is determined to prove Sal was innocent. As she begins to delve in secrets are revealed and her suspect list is growing by the day, will she be able to prove that Sal was not guilty while figuring out who really killed Andie?

This reminded me a bit of Dennis Wheatley dossier series. The story is written with a mix of procedural details and the stories surrounding the characters. I thought this was an entertaining read. I did think that the way Pip asks some of the questions was spot on for her age which added to the overall story. I would check out the next book for sure.

5 StarsDC was raised in the Road Warriors MC, she was the daughter of the President. A MC princess, hardly but all the same she was who she was and handled what needed to be handled quickly. Showing up at the Iron Dogz MC was not where she wanted to be but pulling out her underage sister was a must before her dad found out. She didn't plan on catching the eye of Hawk, the Iron Dogz President.

Hawk was used to women falling all over him, when he sees DC though he is captivated. She is lethal, unlike any woman he has ever met and he plans to claim her as his. While he is earning DC's trust there are enemies between both clubs determined to take them out. Can he protect his old lady or will she be the ultimate target.

Amazing, This book was mind blowing and it was full of twists and turns. The characters are intense, DC is a new favorite heroine of mine. She is brash and so complicated that I definitely hope there is more of her in books to come. The other thing I truly appreciated in this book was that the characters make mistakes, they are not flawless. Onto the next book.

Maybe it's partly because I'm Canadian, but a good hockey romance always hits the spot. After reading too much RH lately, I think I expected that stuck in a cabin with 5 hockey players was going to be a little steamier? lol. But the guys were just wholesome. Looking forward to the rest of this series. Especially Posey's book (he better have a book).

Ice thought he had the girl of his dreams only to have everything ripped apart. Seven years later she is back and Ice can't wrap his head around why. It is at this time that he sees River, he knows she is protected by the Sinners Sons MC, she is a widowed Old Lady with a young son. They share a night but Ice knows he needs to deal with his ex before he can delve in fully with River. What he uncovers though puts his club at risk and ultimately River and her son. Can his club protect the woman he is coming to love or will it have a tragic ending?

Another terrific story by this author. Your pulled in right away and you get pissed at Ice for awhile even though you know why he is doing what he is doing. This story is very intricate and I like the fact that other characters came into parts of it from their standpoint. I cant wait to see what is next in this series.
