Rating/review: 3.5 stars. I know I said I like grumps but Isaac constantly taking Carter for granted was seriously hard to read. Walker could have worked a bit harder on the ending. I needed to see Isaac's improvement, see that he changed and deserved Carter

Rating/review: 1.5 stars - Oof, this just was not for me at all. The only character I really connected with was Alan at the very beginning, and everything after that just seemed almost mechanical? I'm not sure what it was, but I was just not convinced of any real emotion behind anyone except maybe the neighbor. I wanted to like this one but it just did not work for me.

Unfortunately, this book does not qualify for this challenge. The first edition Kindle page count is 144 and the minimum for the challenge is 150. The page count you used is from a second edition released the month after the initial release.
This book will need to be made up before the challenge ends, but anyone can make it up as Marie did read a book that did qualify. If this book is not made up, the books read for the last task will also not count. 🙁

Hi Kat, no problem! I had also read book 3 (and 3.5) of the series before moving on to the last task. I have posted book 3 and hopefully this means we're OK to move on to the final task?
