Sonja ive PMed about my monthly picks regarding that buddy read :).
Hi Romanticbookworm, I read The House in the Cerulean Sea. I loved it! I couldn't really put the book down, it was that good! Thanks for the push! I was eyeing it for a long time. I have From Blood and Ash on hand, hoping to get to it soon!
Nancy has flawless taste. I flew through Love on the Brain, then started Killers of a Certain Age. Also read If the Fates Allow and The Unhoneymooners. I've run out of time for the month, but I also have Nuts checked out. Thank you for such great picks. I had a wonderful time this month!
I picked two of the books that Fran picked for me:Spring Strings - always a winning combination with Lily Morton's stories and Joel Leslie's narration. It was short and entertaining.
Heartbreaker was okay. It really had me for the beginning and then I had to kind of slog through for a bit and then it was good. I'm glad I read it. It's not one I think I'd run out and tell everyone to put on their list though.
I'm planning on getting to The Governess Affair before end of the month, but likely will be April.
Thanks for the picks!
