Many thanks Klowey! I did it last year and enjoyed it ever so much, hoping for a repeat performance!
I loved looking at your choices for each bingo square. So many are completely new to me. And the pictures are a wonderful addition to your thread. Happy reading!

As always I love the pictures you decorate the site with! Can't you teach me ... us ... how to insert pictures? 💜👌
Nike wrote: "As always I love the pictures you decorate the site with! I go to the place i want to add the image and then i use the HTML to do so.
< img src="paste the copied link here" > but take away the spaces after the < and before the >
img src means IMAGE SOURCE
It might be easier with a video, and I found this
https://www.alessandratorreink.com/ho...
Hope that helps!

gifs work too!
Wobbley wrote: That's fantastic! Which ones have been your favourites?"Thank you so much!
They're all good - many are re-reads, but i think the book that meant the most this time around is The Worst Journey in the World (1922) by Cherry, Apsley Cherry-Garrard. The expedition left him with life-long PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder) - although they didn't have a name for it at the time.
That one sounds so harrowing! I have never been to Antarctica, but I saw a display about that journey in a museum in New Zealand some years ago, and just seeing the display and reading the placards actually made me cry.

It was brutal and Cherry was lucky to be alive at the end of it.
I think you'll like it. My friend Ross, who is also reading this, has recommended The Birthday Boys (1993) by Beryl Bainbridge.
Jazzy wrote: "It was brutal and Cherry was lucky to be alive at the end of it."Yikes! I wonder how much they knew about what they were getting into when they got on that boat...
You know this is an annual challenge, don't you? You're doing amazing! Quite a few on my TBR here. What did you think of A year in the Country?
Carolien wrote: "You know this is an annual challenge, don't you? You're doing amazing! Quite a few on my TBR here. What did you think of A year in the Country?"It was a very sweet story, kind of like an independent film (my son says he doesn't like those because 'nothing happens', but things DO happen) I found it pleasurable.
and Yes I know it's an annual challenge, but I have many of them and am trying to work my way through them all. The last 3 books will take longer! Thank you! xx
Keep going, Jazzy! I always find something in your challenges to add to my list. I'll definitely read A Year in the Country as I like independent films too.
wow many, many thanks for all the kind comments! I like the cat pics but really love the couple happily running up the hill with the mushroom cloud in the background.
