Akata Witch gets a lot of comparisons to Harry Potter. So if you liked Harry Potter, then you might like this one. The world-building is based on Nigerian mythology and magic.

Also, The One by John Marrs is my go-to recommendation for people because it reads fast and it's got everything--romance, thriller, sci-fi. The book is about people being matched up based on their DNA and you follow different characters and their journey to find their soulmates. Lots of interesting relationship dynamics. For example, one character is a serial killer who gets matched up.

I think you’re reading this one The Titan's Curse (Percy Jackson and the Olympians, #3) by Rick Riordan ? If so, it can go for blue cover for Chameleon.
I haven’t read it, so don’t know for any links for tasks.

It's been a while since I read those books but I think they have things that will fit for the mini. Both will definitely fit for a color cover. Akata Witch is a white cover and The One is blue. Akata Witch is also set in Africa.

Jhmingos | 417 comments Since we need a lot of card 7 this month, thought I should mention that I have a big "Letters V" shelf where I have tagged books that have authors, titles, and characters with the letter "V". It comes in super handy for reading challenges. If we're struggling to find books for that, feel free to check it out.

Letters V shelf: https://www.goodreads.com/review/list...

Jean | 108 comments I added four colored books to our spreadsheet with where I know they would work for a colored card. They’re maybe other cards they fit and I will try to scan to see if they fit any other colored cards tonight. You can use them wherever you like or as a non colored card as I am reading them regardless.
