Carolyn | 9836 comments The Windsor Knot (Her Majesty the Queen Investigates #1) by S.J. Bennett The Windsor Knot by S.J. Bennett is a delightfully fun cosy mystery where QEII does some amateur sleuthing to solve a murder at Windsor castle.

Marianne (cloggiedownunder) | 9974 comments I've only listened to two so far, but I'm quite sure there is no better narrator for Ben Aaronovitch's Rivers of London series than Kobna Holdbrook-Smith. 5★s for his rendition of Amongst Our Weapons.

Marianne (cloggiedownunder) | 9974 comments I'd have to say that the fourth book in Anne Buist's Natalie King series, Locked Ward is probably her best yet. 5★s

Marianne (cloggiedownunder) | 9974 comments Maggie O'Farrell's reputation with contemporary and historical fiction is well-established, but the second of her books for younger readers, The Boy Who Lost His Spark prove there are more strings to her literary bow. 5★s

PattyMacDotComma | 3297 comments So many readers have loved Barbara Kingsolver's important novel, Demon Copperhead, that I'm sorry I didn't (probably because I'm already familiar with the subjects). But I'm glad she felt compelled to write it.
Demon Copperhead by Barbara Kingsolver 3★My review of Demon Copperhead

PattyMacDotComma | 3297 comments What an amazing woman! Helen Keller, deaf and blind from a childhood disease, travelled the world, inspiring leaders and the public. This children's picture book by Maria Isabel Sanchez Vegara is all the better for the wonderful artwork by Sam Rudd.
Helen Keller by Maria Isabel Sanchez Vegara 5★ My review of Helen Keller with several illustrations

An outlier this time. Found it too slow and rambling. Hardly anything thrilled me about this "thriller".
