The Sins of our Fathers by Åsa Larsson is excellent, well translated, Swedish noir. A mixture of a cold case with a recent murder, when a body is found in the freezer of a murdered man. my review: https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...

A Tidy Ending by Joanna Cannon certainly has some strange, tidy characters as well as a strange, tidy ending. There is a lot of love out there for this one twisty mystery.

My review for
In the Lives of Puppets by T.J. Klune. I didn't love it as much as The House in the Cerulean Sea, but it's certainly imaginative and engaging and very original! https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...
Engineer turned author, Michael Stewart has written a crime novel featuring an engineer turned FBI agent, The Hills Be Shaken. Interesting and I have my hand up for more of this protagonist. 4.5★shttps://www.goodreads.com/review/show...

One of America's most celebrated black authors, James Baldwin wrote Sonny's Blues in 1957 about Harlem, drugs, music, and two brothers. Another memorable Baldwin story.

Since I couldn't remember where I got up to in Ian Rankin's Rebus series, I decided to reread an early novel for our current monthly challenge and enjoyed it very much.
