ElectricOutcast (electicoutcast) | 637 comments Mona Lisa Overdrive Mona Lisa Overdrive (Sprawl, #3) by William Gibson by William Gibson my verdict on the entire Sprawl trilogy overall: It may have influenced Ghost in the Shell, The Matrix, and even bits & pieces of the Eve Dallas/Roarke series, but I'm better off sticking with those franchises as opposed to this trilogy.

Also I picked up both Vampire Hunter D Volume 10 Dark Nocturne by Hideyuki Kikuchi Vampire Hunter D Volume 10: Dark Nocturne on GraphicAudio and pre-ordered Release the Dogs of War (The Kurtherian Gambit #10) by Michael Anderle Release the Dogs of War on the same format as well.

I finished Panther Gap by James A. McLaughlin and give it 5++++ Stars! A 2023 Favorite!
My Review

Panther Gap is a beautifully written, action packed thriller that swept me away. I love a story that integrates the surrounding environment into the plot line as an extra character as McLaughlin does in this one. Add a cast of nonconformist characters pushed over their physical and mental limits, and I'm one happy reader. Top that with a family drama - estranged, eccentric family members forced back together in the battle of their lives against bad guys coming at them from every direction in a multifaceted plot line, and I'm in book heaven.
