Nyssa | 213 comments Kindred by Octavia E. Butler Kindred by Octavia E. Butler is the best title, with a time travel element that I have ever personally read.

I enjoyed The Time Traveler's Wife by Audrey Niffenegger and the first Outlander book by Diana Gabaldon. Kage Baker’s Company books were fantastic!

I think it’s a new series on FX and Hulu. I have not read the book.

I did see an ad for a new series. I was not compelled enough to look for it, though.

Agree with all of the books mentioned above - I've read them all except the Kage Baker series (I'll have to check it out)!

Connie Willis has a few amazing time travel books. To Say Nothing of the Dog is laugh out loud funny, while Doomsday Book is absolutely heartbreaking.

This is How You Lose the Time War is lovely, even though I never quite felt like I fully understood what was happening. The Anubis Gates by Tim Powers is my favorite of his books

I absolutely love Connie Willis' time travel books. Author Jodi Taylor has a laugh-out-loud series, Chronicles of St Mary's that's lots of fun to binge. And, if you like Discworld, who can forget Terry Pratchett's Thief of Time?
