Grace, I'm moving your request to the "UNSOLVED" folder as you're looking for a specific book. Good luck!

Moon Shell Beach by Nancy Thayer or
The Summer We Read Gatsby by Danielle Ganek or
Outer Banks by Anne Rivers Siddons.
All of these books have a group of women that reunite over the years at the beach.

Summary sounds a lot like this, the girls are all cousins but they are very different if I recall correctly.

I think there are boys in this one.

We Were Liars is by E. Lockhart, and yes, there are boys. It's also only a couple of years old.

I know I'm years late, but I suddenly thought of the book again and remembered to check this thread... This is it! Thank you, thank you, thank you!

There was around 4-5 girls and 2 of them were possibly related. There was family drama going on and some exploration of the area. It was definitely by the coast, though. It could probably be classified as a "coming of age" novel. The cover was a painting of a coastal scene. The title was in white cursive (how frustrating is it that I can remember what the title /looked/ like but not the title itself? smh) There was possibly a lighthouse, some boats, maybe. I think it was the first of a series.
I vaguely remember a section about one of the girls searching through her grandma's old things and finding a photo album or something.
This has been plaguing me for weeks! Thanks in advance to anyone who may answer. Sorry the details are so sparse.
