Ruth (ruthelizabethg) | 8 comments I've read the first second and I started to read the third one but I haven't finished it. The second one, Crown of Midnight, is definitely worse then the first in how much romance was in it. There's a kinda graphic sex scene. What I did when I got to that part is I just gave it to my mom because I didn't know how far it would go she said it was like a page so I skiped it and kept reading. Also it was pretty violent/gruesome in my opinion. There was probably about as much swearing in the second as was in the first. It's not my favorite series.

Dominique (domsvoyages) That's disappointing, I still wanna finish the series sometime because I did start it but I don't know when I will get around to it. Thanks for the heads up! :)

Brandi | 73 comments How about the Selection series by Kiera Cass? I've heard a lot of good about it, but I want to be sure before I read it. Let me know if it's good. Please say if it has any sexuality (anything beyond kissing) or language (foul words as well as taking God's name in vain). Thanks :)

Tamara Georges (tamarasinnamon) Brandi, I read the first book and it does have language and a lot of kissing and almost sex. I don't remember if they take the name of the Lord in vain, but it's not a Christian series. I haven't read the other ones and probabky won't. Just my opinion though. ;)

Joan Walker | 5 comments I'd recommend Jenn Sadai's books. Her books are not specifically Christian, but she references her close relationship with God throughout her books. In her first book, Dark Confessions of an Extraordinary, Ordinary Woman, her life spirals out of control and she loses faith in God. Luckily, she recognizes that God gave her a second chance and rebuilds her life with Christian values. In her other book, she thanks God for her talents and for protecting her from harm. Both books made me feel like God is looking out for all of us.
