Shad (splante) | 357 comments Finished The Lost Metal which was a satisfying conclusion to Mistborn Era 2. Nice character arcs for the main characters and adds connections to the rest of the Cosmere. Plants some seeds for the next Mistborn Era.

Nope. Fully adult.

John (Taloni) Taloni (johntaloni) | 5193 comments Read the "Bromeliad" books on the recommendation of someone here. Solid silly Pratchett fun. On the YA level. Features gnomes (actually "nomes" in the book) dealing with humans, the environment, and their own history. The only oddity was that I was fully prepared for gnomes in a mythological way, and not for them (modest spoilers follow, if you read them it won't kill the books) (view spoiler) I also kinda wondered (view spoiler)

Trike | 11192 comments Listened to Elric right quick, being such a short book. Now listening to Game Changer, which I don’t recall requesting from the library but seems to be about a high school kid switching universes.

Iain Bertram (iain_bertram) | 1740 comments Started in on Children of Memory.. Excellent narration and more uplift weirdness. Adrian Tchaikovsky has a very imaginative take on alien intelligence. As you would expect the plot is twisty... Another excellent read.

Colin Forbes (colinforbes) | 534 comments Also reading Children of Memory. An enjoyable read so far. I enjoy that this series manages to do something different in each book - while still being part of a larger, cohesive picture.

I hear the uplifted critters in this one should be of particular interest to Veronica.
